This is a wonderful community with a warm, family atmosphere! I feel welcome each time that I visit. Lola, Memory Care Director is a joy to be around and a strong advocate for all residents under her care.Your loved ones couldn't be in better hands with Lola and Stephen.

It is the best feeling to have a place for my mom to feel at home. The care takers and staff are incredible. A huge shout out to Maddie, Chey, Susan, Steven, Wanda and the list goes on. Everyone has made her feel welcome. 5 stars

I love this community. The atmosphere is comforting and the staff is friendly. Everyone that works here says hello when I walk by. The Memory Care Director, Lola, treats her residents like family. I would not hesitate to have a loved one live at this community.

This spring I had to find and relocate my father from Indiana to a memory care facility in Texas in a very short amount of time. I visited many facilities in the Keller area, including Whitley Place. When I visited Whitley Place, I received the attention, understanding, and the information I needed to make a good decision for my father. From my very first visit (and every subsequent visit), I have been impressed with how they prioritize people over profit. Rebecca, the Facility Director, was so caring, understanding, and supportive of what I was going through, and her focus was on supporting me through a difficult decision rather than just concern about getting a new resident. Everyone I come in contact with at Whitley Place is extremely friendly and knows who I am and my father, and they are always helpful and caring regarding both of us. Putting the care of your parent in someone else’s hands is an extremely difficult choice, and you want the people tending to your loved one to be people who view it not just as a job, but as a vocation. People whose hearts are in it. People that possess the patience, understanding, and compassion it takes to work with elders in a memory care unit. One such person is Lola, the Memory Care Unit Director, who I just fell in love with from the very first day that I met her. She has a genuine gift, a calling, and she is just where she belongs caring and supporting our senior community. Lola had been such a blessing as we have watched my dad settle in and become more aware and social in his new setting. He always tells me she takes good care of him and he lights up whenever he sees her. She has not only been there for my father, but me as well, during this challenging journey getting him settled and flourishing. She encourages an uplifting environment and activities that keep the residents active and engaged. During the tough times with my dad, she was in constant contact and sent me pictures of him showing promising behaviors and engaging in activities with others. She and her staff work as one unit with a common goal giving care and support, as well as, providing dignity and choice to people who often don’t receive those any more. They are just the most wonderful group of people that I have come across in a long time. They make the unit feel like a home and not a care facility, and you see this in the way the residents respond to the staff. You don’t find people like this everywhere. I feel like I am visiting family or a friend when I check in on my dad from the front desk receptionist to the kitchen help, the maintenance, the care givers, med techs, the activities’ director, memory care director and administrative staff. They all make you very aware that they care about you and your family member and they are there to help you any time along this difficult journey. They make it a very pleasant, cheery place to be and are constantly looking for ways to bring joy to their residents. It is apparent that they treat this place and everyone there as if they were their own family and that shows. I can’t express how happy I am to finally have my dad located back close to me and in a place where I feel he is safe, cared for and loved when I can’t be there to do it myself.
