I visit the dementia unit with my therapy dogs. The unit is very well run, and the residents really like to visit with the dogs. The director has special things planned for the residents every day. The residents are treated with respect and care, and have many activities to choose from each day.

Very good visit. Only two slight negatives. Planned activity on their schedule did not happen and was not communicated on cancelation. Tv had a show playing with no sound but captions. A little much on the language and sexual activity being Shown

The Wellington at Southport has restored health and well being for my mother. The caring staff and in house physician is nothing short of a miracle and gift to our family. We will be forever grateful for the care they provide. Also, the one-on-one engagement by Kim Wood with the memory care residents. The social interaction is so important. It is clear the staff at this community cares.
