I am hugely grateful for my experience at Watermark. On particular situation showed me the compassion and care the facilty took care of the Residents. They swiftly moved us from our rooms to the first floor for safety reasons; provided water, and whatever we needed; and especially kept everyone calm and peaceful. They really demonstrated their care and expertise in keeping us calm and safe. They went above and beyond the call of duty! Kudos!!

Stay away from Watermark. I stayed for almost a year and one half. The HR director screamed at me for asking one of the associates for help to retierve my prescriptions from the drug store. I did not know protocol, and I had attended a doctor's appointment on my own, and I was approached by the HR Dept and screamed at because I asked for help to retierve my prescription. Also, have your family watch your doctor appts because the Director of Nursing called and canceled several of my doctors appointments without my knowledge or my permission. My doctors were alarmed by this behavior and contacted me. This assisted living is unprofessional. Stay away. Far Away. Additionally, the Director of Nursing refused to give me my medications when I left Watermark at Vista - Scary! Medication I had paid for was denied to me when i left the scary house. Months of Oxy - for pain. Months and months of medicine i had paid for. Why? They belonged to me and not Waterman? What do they do with these drugs that were mine?. Why was HR and the Director of Nursing yelling at me at the top of their lungs in the Lobby of Waterman as I insisted on taking my drugs that I paid for with me as I left Watermark. I thought drugs I paid for were mine according to the law. Other residents witnessed this cruel and unnecessary behavior toward me and later approached me bc they were upset for me as they watched in despair watching me leave the property trying to go home without my medicine 💊. What was the HR director going to do with my medication? How many others went through this previously without any intervention? Is this a safe environment for your family member? Are these employees still working at Waterman? I am telling the truth. Fire the HR Director and Director of Nursing. These women threatened me and I shook standing alone trying to get my medicine. My driver was hired by my son to take me home and he stood in shock as he watched the circus unfold. I am home walking and caring for myself. I stayed at Watermark for close to a year and one half not knowing my hip was totally detached from my hip. Make sure your primary care doctor who sees you at Watermark knows what she is doing. Missing a detached hip diagnosis is horrific. The pain was unbearable and she took my pain pills away from me without doing any x-rays and the pain was unbearable 💔 😢. Nobody at any assisted living care should live over a year without know their patient has a detached hip. Besides, the pain my surgeon had to attach other pieces of bone and cartilage to repair my leg so I could walk again. The place is a mess. I probably can't say the woman's name but make sure you seek your own primary care doctor and don't accept abusivers as your advocates. There is a great assisted living a half mile down the street. They are wonderful. I attended their facility for PT.

The team at Watermark Vistawilla was truly exceptional, compassionate, dedicated. When I asked for help for my mom they were always willing to go the extra mile. Their kindness created a warm, family-like atmosphere, and it gave me such a peace of mind to entrust my loved one to their care. Combined with the beautiful surroundings, Watermark at Vistawilla was a wonderful place.
