Care

Assisted Living

A living option for seniors or individuals who require assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, or medication management while maintaining a level of independence. Assisted living facilities offer personalized care plans and social activities that promote quality of life for their residents.

Independent Living

Designed to help older adults who want to maintain an active and independent lifestyle, these communities offer services and amenities that cater to residents’ needs, while encouraging a sense of community and freedom from the responsibilities of owning a home.

Memory Care

Memory care communities offer specialized care and support for individuals dealing with memory-related conditions, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia. These facilities are equipped with trained staff and offer engaging activities designed to promote well-being while ensuring a safe living environment.

Life Plan/CCRCs

Also referred to as Life Plan Communities, these communities offer a comprehensive continuum of care for residents. CCRCs offer multiple levels of care, allowing seniors to transition between independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care as their needs change throughout their aging journey.

Skilled Nursing

Skilled nursing and nursing homes are residential facilities that offer medical care and support for individuals that require a higher level of medical attention and assistance. These are staffed by licensed healthcare providers and offer a range of services to ensure the well-being and comfort of residents.

Neighborhood

Pulling from a variety of reliable data sources, Walk Score® measures the walkability of any address, helping you understand how easy it is to live a car-free lifestyle. Transit Score®, when available, measures how well a location is served by public transit. Scores range from 0 to 100, with higher scores indicating more amenities within walking distance and diverse transit options nearby.

I can’t say enough good things about the Terraces. My Mom has had a residential living apartment for almost 7 years and enjoys living there so much. There are so many social opportunities, the food is amazing and it’s obvious to all that the Staff like their jobs. It’s just a very warm environment.

We have moved my mother out of the Terraces. One example why. When the nursing staff was questioned about allowing my mother to have certain foods she is allergic to (her doctor and I have mentioned multiple times to not allow) the response was, “people are allowed to make poor decisions here.” This is the level of care and communication you can expect from the nurses at the Terraces.

I attended a meeting in the Syringa room recently, which was a lovely location. The Terraces set the room up for our P.E.O. group just right. Thank you for your help in making our meeting run smoothly.

What a wonderful community minded philosophy! Terrace community members need go no further than their own meeting rooms to continue their participation in organizations. Thank you!
