Care

Assisted Living

A living option for seniors or individuals who require assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, or medication management while maintaining a level of independence. Assisted living facilities offer personalized care plans and social activities that promote quality of life for their residents.

Independent Living

Designed to help older adults who want to maintain an active and independent lifestyle, these communities offer services and amenities that cater to residents’ needs, while encouraging a sense of community and freedom from the responsibilities of owning a home.

Memory Care

Memory care communities offer specialized care and support for individuals dealing with memory-related conditions, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia. These facilities are equipped with trained staff and offer engaging activities designed to promote well-being while ensuring a safe living environment.

Life Plan/CCRCs

Also referred to as Life Plan Communities, these communities offer a comprehensive continuum of care for residents. CCRCs offer multiple levels of care, allowing seniors to transition between independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care as their needs change throughout their aging journey.

Senior Apartments

Senior apartments are designed for older adults, featuring amenities and services. These apartments offer a maintenance-free lifestyle with access to social activities, promoting active living and independence.

Skilled Nursing

Skilled nursing and nursing homes are residential facilities that offer medical care and support for individuals that require a higher level of medical attention and assistance. These are staffed by licensed healthcare providers and offer a range of services to ensure the well-being and comfort of residents.

Home Care

Home care typically offers nonclinical support for Activities of Daily Living (ADL) like bathing and dressing, as well as Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) such as transportation, meal preparation, and medication reminders, all provided in the comfort of one’s home.

My Dad has been at the Stratford for just over a year and is happier than he ever expected. Leaving his long time home in New Jersey was a big decision but he will tell you now he has "no regrets!". The staff is warm and friendly and the residents have all been so welcoming. The Stratford feels like home but better and our family is very grateful.

My mother lived at The Stratford for over four years. Every interaction I witnessed with staff and residents was caring. Several staff members went out of their way to help her with grieving the loss of her husband and many residents offered support and kindness. We found the skilled nursing care to be amazing, particularly rehab/physical therapy. Dining services are excellent, and every staff member there was gracious and friendly. The entire staff, from the front desk to the maintenance team work tirelessly to ensure residents are well cared for and feel loved.

My mother has been a resident at Stratford for about 3 years. I have stayed in a guest suite multiple times. They are very well stocked with all the essentials for a short or long stay. There was almost nothing that I needed to bring myself such as a hair dryer, towels, plates, silverware and bottled water in the fridge. We like to stay close y when we come and the guest suites are perfect for that! Thank you for all the care and so ial environment the Stratford provides my mom. We really appreciate it!

My wife and I moved her mother into independent living at the Stratford in October, 2011, at the age of 89. After she turned 101 in October, 2024, we were faced with the tough decision to move her to a memory care facility closer to our home in Fishers due to the rapid onset of dementia. The twelve years she lived at the Stratford were undoubtably some of the happiest years of her life. For over ten years, she was able to fully participate in the numerous activities and social events of the Stratford (e.g. bridge, shopping, concerts, Super Bowl viewing parties, etc.). Following her move to Indiana from her home of over 50 years in Georgia, she made numerous close friends during her time at the Stratford. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to visit her weekly for meals, especially Sunday brunch. We found the staff to be very supportive and accommodating of her needs, especially Sam, Joe, Kevin, and Jackie. The staff and management of the Stratford were equally supportive as we made the difficult decision to leave. In retrospect, she made the ideal choice to move to the Stratford thirteen years ago. We are very grateful for the care and support that they provided.
