Very impressed with how staff interacts with visitors and their residents. Everyone seems to be very happy living and working here. Clean, vibrant, modern, luxurious, great amenities, well put together staff and residents! I would be happy to send a loved one here, visit residents, and live here myself when the time comes!

We had holiday lunch here today, and it was delicious. The buffet included the classics (prime rib, potatoes) and more. Salmon, squash, beautiful green beans, pilaf. There is something for everyone: ominivores, pescitarians, vegetarians. I would not be surprised if they accommodated vegan diets. The most remarkable thing was the interesting variety of food. Arancini. Decadent phyllo with goat cheese and honey. A perfect fruit pie (was it strawberry? Mixed berries? I don't care. It was yummy). Cupcakes just the right size. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, filling glasses and removing empty plates. And just saying "hi" to everyone. While I lead with the food, I am thoroughly impressed with this place. It's beautifully appointed, and they treat residents like people (rather than patients or residents). Thank you for a really nice celebration!

I am posting this for my father who recently moved out of this facility: Warning to all seniors. I moved into The Ridge at Pinehurst on September 23, 2023. The rent on my 1 bedroom apartment with food was about $6400.00 a month. They take from your account $450.00 a month for food and that does not include 3 meals a day 7 days a week. If you pay your $450.00 on the first of the month and you go into the hospital on the 3rd of the month for 4 weeks you get no credit or money back on the food charge even tho you did not eat the food. That money is just lost. Then they charge you extra in they decide to have a Thanksgiving buffet or 4th of July buffet or Christmas buffet and so on. These special buffets range from $38.00 to $45.00 EXTRA and above your $450.00 a month food bill. Everything at the Ridge is about how can they charge you more money. A lot of the food was cold when they served it. The cooked veggies were always served raw. I reported this several times and never saw any improvement. I even sent the veggies back several times and they came back still raw. Then there was the loud noise from the lady that lived above me. I reported this to the staff several times and they told me that was just apartment living and to get used to it. I mean it was loud noises late at night and at 1,2,3 o'clock in the morning. They refused to do anything about it. Then when the weather turned cold the breakers started to flip in my apartment in the middle of the night. Not only in my apartment but in my entire building. This went on for several months. They said they have been trying to figure it out for 4 years. I am the one who figured it out. I told the staff it has to be a batch of bad circuit breakers. A few weeks later they replaced all the breakers in my building. You see I have sleep apnea and I have to sleep with Oxygen. I can't have the power going off several times a night with sleep apnea. When I first moved into the Ridge the underground parking was $75.00 a month. Then they went up to $100.00 a month and before I left I got notice they were going up to $125.00 a month. In Oct. 2024 they raised the rent on my apartment almost $400.00 a month and just took that money out of my checking account without any notice what so ever. So in Nov. 2024 I gave them my 30 day notice I was leaving. So to all you seniors you have been warned.

We were invited to the Ridge at Pinehurst by Julie. Even before we took the tour, we found the residents in the reception area very friendly. As we toured, we were impressed with the positive attitude of the staff. The physical facility was well appointed and well maintained. Gisela was very gracious and knowledgeable. Anne & Steve
