The Preserve at Clearwater

Want to give a big 5 star shout out for Michelle. A very caring human being always willing to go above and beyond to help my mother and all of the Residents at The Preserve. Joe is also another staff member who does the same. I am so thankful for these two, as I know they truly care for everyone there.

After some bad experiences at an assisted care facility, we were so blessed to find The Preserve in Clearwater Fl to care for my wife’s 95 yr old aunt. Leading the charge for The Preserve was Michelle Lowack, Director of Sales & Marketing. Michelle has gone the “extra mile” several times over to make the transition not only seamless, but an extremely positive experience. I normally don't leave reviews,but I feel this needs to be acknowledge. My grandma has been living at the preserve for 3 years, and after my wonderful experience Monday night I thought this review is well deserved. First off I would like to say what a great administration office you have! Rhonda Coates is a fantastic leader, and always follows through, she goes above and beyond for the residents and staff.I always see her just simply walking around taking the time to listen to residents comments or concerns, and follows thru.I speak to alot of families as I feel like I am part of the preserve family.Francine and Doris are absolutely the back bone to this facility and honestly I dont know how they do it day after day! Always there with a smile ,they really care about the staff and residents!! I'm super glad we found this facility and would definitely recommend this great place to anybody looking for a well runned facility for their loved ones. I cannot commend Michele Lowack enough for the service she provides our family. She is truly a God-send, no doubt. To say she goes above and beyond is putting it mildly. Michelle treats your elder parent, grandparent as if they are her own. She has an unsurpassed level of passion for seniors after caring for her own father.  She works tirelessly to pursue options to save money where possible when it comes to prescription coverage and monthly contracted amounts with the ALF.  She exudes love in all she does. Even when I could not communicate effectively with my mother, she could, and got the message across. She establishes a relationship and a level of trust, not only with the senior, but also with the family. Seriously, I will invite her for holiday dinners. She is genuine, sincere, passionate, and dedicated to the families she serves and her role. She negotiated rates with the ALF's my mother and step-father were admitted to. She is knowledgeable regarding the fees and what is acceptable and what is not and will fight for what is right. She is a woman of integrity. We had an extraordinary situation where Michelle fought to ensure the ALF was honoring the monthly rate that was contracted for and that the charges were depicted correctly in the documentation submitted to the LTC insurance provider ensuring my mother received the maximum benefit allowed. I certainly could not have done this without her. She is an angel sent from above. Michelle was instrumental in so many situations when my parents transitioned to ALF living including the legalities associated with selling their home, applying for Medicaid, seeking facilities on three different occasions always taking into account budget, individual needs, and extraordinary circumstances. I don't know what I'd do without her, quite frankly. There is no way on God's green earth that I would be able to navigate all the processes, forms, insurance, billing, etc that comes with admitting a parent to an ALF. I am eternally grateful for her services.
