In coming back and forth to the property at The Montecito is beautiful as you approach the entrance with a large waterfall at the entrance. And when you walk in, the décor is very well done and amazingly inviting. More importantly I have found consistently the greeting from the front reception area. And the interaction with the staff across campus is always polite and professional. The dining, beyond the daily entrée, has an anytime menu that provides a tenderloin steak anytime, as well as, other high end fares. Not many senior living properties offer menu options to the degree they do and the ability to come down anytime vs. set meal times. The property is well kept up as you venture from the main building across the campus with Casita's and Villa's. Just down to earth feeling as you visit and engage with the community.

I like the community and people here are wonderful. The first visit walking in, the desk person, Carol was NOT welcoming at all. I was with a family member and asked for directions to someone I know living there and she had the worst attitude. It is a huge place and was my first time getting around. Her demeanor was so unwelcoming in helping us where we needed to go. The second time, I had called to see if the desk person Nick was working next. (since he is absolutely phenomenal and DESERVES a raise. Goes above and beyond for his residents ). during the phone call with carol, her tone when I mentioned nick was rude. When she told me the next day he would worked. Before I could say thank you, she hung up on me! She didn’t even say “bye” or “thank you, have a nice day”. I don’t know if she was having a bad day or is racist to people of color, but that was absolutely unprofessional!!

My parents lived in Montecito's assisted living area for six years. It took a little time but mom and dad felt like Monticeto was their home. Their staff provided excellent customer service from the front desk, nursing supervisor, med techs, and maintenance. Now that they have passed, I will also miss the Monticeto staff I got to know and work with to manage their care.

The Montecito Is now our new home. We moved here 10 months ago. It was one of the the best choices we could have possibly made. We have met wonderful people here & enjoy our new friends very much. We appreciate the staff as they take care of our needs and best of all they become friends too. The facility itself is a remarkable place and best of all for me is a swimming pool that has a beautiful waterfall. There are many things such as entertainment and many activities to enjoy with so much more. We feel very fortunate to live in a facility that takes great care of all of us, especially in this most unusual year of 2020. w
