Independent Living
Designed to help older adults who want to maintain an active and independent lifestyle, these communities offer services and amenities that cater to residents’ needs, while encouraging a sense of community and freedom from the responsibilities of owning a home.
Memory Care
Memory care communities offer specialized care and support for individuals dealing with memory-related conditions, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia. These facilities are equipped with trained staff and offer engaging activities designed to promote well-being while ensuring a safe living environment.
Active Adult
Active adult communities are vibrant residential neighborhoods designed specifically for individuals typically 55 and older. These communities offer a range of amenities, as well as recreational and social activities.
Respite Care
Respite care is short-term or temporary care. Respite care can be provided in adult day centers, in private homes via home health agencies and in senior living communities, most often assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.
Personal Care
Personal care involves assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, medication management, and mobility support to help maintain independence and enhance day-to-day life.
Neighborhood
Pulling from a variety of reliable data sources, Walk Score® measures the walkability of any address, helping you understand how easy it is to live a car-free lifestyle. Transit Score®, when available, measures how well a location is served by public transit. Scores range from 0 to 100, with higher scores indicating more amenities within walking distance and diverse transit options nearby.

I would like to recognize Jeff Rank who runs the Rock Steady Boxing Program at The Commons on Marice for the outstanding job that he does in running a program that is fun but challenging. It is also very effective. My personal experience is that I came to the gym one year ago. I was using a four wheel walker and my strength and balance were poor. One year later I am now walking independently...and I don't need a nap after each class! The person that I hold responsible for this improvement is Jeff. He comes to the program with a strong background. He is dedicated to each of his boxers and is constantly working to improve the program and gym. He also spends a tremendous amount of time researching Parkinsons and is a wonderful resource. I can't thank Jeff enough for the difference he has made in my life.

Commons on Marice is such a lovely community. All the staff truly care about the residents and you are immediately greeted with a warm smile by everyone as soon as you walk in! It is very well maintained and has a beautiful ambiance. I highly recommend & trust that my (or any!) loved ones would be well taken care of. ❤️

I had a delivery order to the 4th floor. which is secured by passcode for elevator access. It’s assisted living and secure access for a reason. The rude front desk woman was busy playing on her phone, then finally gave me the secure code, which is outrageous. In the past a staff member would always go with me. Why are you handing out passwords? There are even warnings not to do that in the elevator. Should be fired. Also once on the 4th floor, it’s a different secure code to get down the elevator that the staff had to get me. They also said the front desk woman was nuts.

This facility is like the Ritz Carleton of nursing homes. Well landscaped and gorgeous plantings outside and very luxurious inside. Gives you a feeling of being in a 5 star hotel. Residents all seem well attended to and happy. The unit of the person we visited was spacious and cheerful. She is very happy with her surroundings and pleased with the meals and staff...
