The Chateau at Gardnerville

Our family is grateful to The Chateau at G-ville. Rescued my Dad out of a state-governed rehabilitation facility next door where he stayed 90 days post a 1-week hospital stay after a fall at his home. Dad literally went from a 1-star facility to the 5-star Chateau; the Chateau is equipped with the appropriate volume of staff, excellent healthy food, caring nurses and CNA's, and an incredible partnership with hospice and related teams. Their memory care unit is awesome. Jess is fantastic. Well worth the wait list to get into this place. This is Dad's home now and we love visiting him many times a week. The vibe is peaceful. My father-in-law stayed on the assisted living side of The Chateau 5 years ago and the team was awesome then too. Very very positive experience. What a difference. Appropriate leadership, governance and care. It's all about quality care and embracing what is best for the residents. Thank you to everyone there.

I would encourage anyone searching for a community for a loved one, or for themselves to tour The Chateau at Gardnerville. Their community is beautiful, they have an incredible leadership team and support staff - I have no doubt that they believe in what they do, and they truly love and care for each and every resident in their community. I am constantly impressed and moved by their team, their mission, and their desire to make Senior Living some the most exciting and fulfilling times in the lives of each person they care for. Daily, I am thankful for their presence here in Gardnerville. I would recommend The Chateau to anyone I know.

I moved my father into The Chateau in Gardnerville 10 months ago from an assisted living facility in the Seattle area. There is no comparison. The staff is so caring and helpful. The food is very good and they make sure he is happy with the food and service. He has the same thing every morning and they have it ready when they see him coming. His eye sight is failing and they cut up his meals and describe what is on his plate. Now that is service! The staff always greets him by name and with a smile. The management team could not be better. The service and care everyone provides is top notch. I am so pleased my father is living at The Chateau.

Our 86 year old mother moved into The Château at Gardnerville in August 2024. We looked at every facility in the area. We were most impressed by the atmosphere and friendly, warm feeling we got the several times we visited The Château. She has been there several weeks now and is doing great! She has always been very introverted and has had difficulty making friends. At the Château, everyone knows her name! She now enjoys going to meals (especially the ice cream)! Her whole attitude is much brighter and not only is she safe there, she is happy! Thank you to Katie, Jess, Kendra, Robin, Rusty and the whole staff for being so kind and compassionate.
