Overview
"The Auberge at Onion Creek has been a wonderful home for my dad. Moving him from his house out of state was so emotionally difficult, but the staff were incredibly helpful. He is very happy at Auberge and well cared for. There are lots of activities to engage the residents and shared spaces with TVs and books. Dad likes the birds in the birdcage and the fish tanks. What makes Auberge such a great place is the quality of the staff. They treat the residents with real care and warmth."

Auberge at Onion Creek sets the bar high for assisted living and memory care in Austin. From the moment you walk in, your're greeted by the concierge and managers with a warmth of professionalism that makes you feel at home. Residents are well groomed and can be seen actively engaging with staff in both one-on-one and group activities. Even living with dementia, one of the residents offered to guide me on a tour. The community's wellness team and care staff seem to stay busy with residents, but are always smiling and take time to answer questions to ensure every person at Auberge feels like they're an important part of the community. And I would be remiss not to mention the delectable aroma around meal times, classy decor, and overall beauty of the community inside out! As a healthcare professional and patient advocate, I've seen many assisted living communities across the country. So I know the "good, bad, and the ugly" when it comes to healthcare and senior living. This is why I can highly recommend Auberge at Onion Creek to anyone looking for assisted living and memory care in Austin. Keep up the amazing work Auberge at Onion Creek!

For the past ten months Auberge at Onion Creek has been a wonderful home for my dad. The decision and process of moving him from his house out of state to a memory care facility was so emotionally difficult but the staff were incredibly helpful and it has turned out to have been a very good move for him. He is very happy at Auberge and well cared for. The facility and grounds are great. His room is light and he loves it. They really want residents to use public spaces and to engage with other residents and staff rather than becoming isolated in their rooms. There are lots of activities to engage the residents and a number of shared living room like spaces with TVs and books. Dad likes the birds in the birdcage and the fish tanks. The building surrounds a really spacious and beautifully landscaped courtyard that my family and I enjoy with my dad. There are several shaded porches, paved and gravel paths, and a gazebo that he likes to sit in. The courtyard has a lot of bird feeders and birds, flowers and trees. But probably what makes Auberge such a great place is the quality of the staff. They treat the residents with real care and warmth. Their dedication to their work through the pandemic has been remarkable. The staff has been great to us too, with advice and recommendations and compassion for our situation. My family and I are so happy that we found Auberge for dad.

My brother has been living in the Auberge community for three years now. I am so grateful for finding the perfect home for him. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with many paths to allow for long walks in a safe environment. The caregivers, nurses and management are an amazing team of kind, compassionate professionals. I am so impressed with how they handle dementia and how each resident is treated like a very special person. Because they are.
