Amazing staffer had residents singing familiar hymns immediately following dinner. A lady who sat across from my aunt, whom I was visiting, didn't utter a sound for the whole 45 minutes I was there, till the singing started. Was I ever surprised to hear her joyfully singing along. From a blank stare to clapping her hands and bobbing her head. A man who had initially refused dinner, was also singing along in harmony. I loved it, and I found myself singing along, as well.

I enjoy the new management team, I think change is good. Some people just stuck in their ways but honestly.Benton house did not have structure and this new company is setting standards.

I am sitting here with some of the residence. Everyone is commenting on how bad the food is! The cream of chicken soup had no chicken. The residents say the food has gotten worse with new owners. People in assisted living deserve home cooked meals. It will may them live longer...and keep owners in business. So I will come visit again and let you know if you have improved the quality of the food!
