The Addison of Clen-Moore Place is one of the best facilities in the area. I attended their event that was Great Gatsby themed and it was so much fun for guests and residents. I highly recommend this facility for anyone looking for high-level assisted-living.

Before my grandmother passed away, the staff refused to assist my grandmother to the toilet every couple of hours without raising her level of care, therefore the cost. There were never clean pads on her chairs like we asked and she eventually developed a stage 2 pressure wound on her tailbone. They blamed their incompetence on my grandmother’s condition. When concerns were brought to staff and management’s attention, they acted like they would take care of it, but nothing changed. When she passed away, we were told that we could leave the furniture/ clothes that we did not want/need and they would donate it or get rid of it for our grieving family. The next day, before the funeral, they call us and say that they are not able to get rid of the furniture and we will get charged the daily fee of living at the facility until the room is cleared out. There was no consideration for our family during this period of loss. This staff is very inconsistent, does not report changes in family member conditions and acts like they will follow through with what is needed to be done. I would not recommend that anyone takes their family member here. I visited my grandma twice a week and had to strongly advocate for her so that she could get the basic level of care she deserved.

Some staff is nice but some bully the residents. Bugs in the break room. Med tech doesn’t always give meds like supposed to. (Especially when a resident asks for it but she says “she’s not stopping in the middle of a med pass for a Tylenol” then never gives it to them) doesn’t report falls like they should. The DON acts like they know nothing that goes on in the facility. Between the two cooks the one did everything they were supposed to the other one would leave early and there wasn’t even enough food for some of the residents so staff had to find something because she would throw it in the garbage. Weren’t organized. Didn’t know how to do a simple schedule.
