I can’t speak to being a resident there, but they are quick to reject patients in their skilled nursing - as they just did with my father. With that in mind, be careful with moving here - their stepped care looks to more about “you can be here as long as all is good, but when you develop more serious issues, we will toss you on the street.”

I've lived at Splendido for 10+ years and life is awesome! The people here are wonderful, and that includes Management, Staff and Residents. There are unlimited opportunities to socialize, share common interests and hear stories of interesting lives. My favorite activity is indoor saltwater pool exercise. I can work out and not take risks. Splendido has exceeded my expectations.

First rate accommodations-villas, apartments large and small. Facilities for the healthy and those with special needs as we progressively age! Life care at a reasonable price. Lots of plans to choose from. Activities galore. Caring staff, dining options and most of all tremendous neighbors. Come see for yourself.

We moved to Splendido in the middle of the Pandemic. Everything was shut down but Management did a good job in providing the necessary services including complimentary delivery of lunch & dinner. I believe Splendido is the only planned retirement community in Tucson that provides the 4 levels of care necessary for a CCRC - independent living, assisted living, memory care & skilled nursing care. That was key in our decision to come here. Splendido is facing the same challenges as other businesses in trying to fully staff all departments. The second most important factor in choosing a place like Splendido is the quality of the food. Despite staff shortages, Splendido does an outstanding job in this area. Splendido offers a wide variety of menu items & the food is quite good. Splendido is going through some renovations & while that presents some challenges, the effort is nearing completion & residents have not been significantly impacted. We are former SaddleBrooke residents & while the decision to move to Splendido was not an easy one at the time, we know we made the right decision & have no regrets.
