I toured the facility with my 81 year old mom today and had lunch in the wonderful dining room. The meal was delicious and the residents we met all seemed to love it there. Lisa gave us the tour and was so nice and put my mom at ease and provided a ton of information. We are touring several facilities this week but as of today, my mom has decided Cascadian is going to be her choice. They offer so much and at a reasonable price.

My mother has lived here for a couple of years. First of all, the socialization is wonderful for my mother. She's met nice residents and developed some friendships. Also, Jessica, the activities director (who also wears many other hats), is super nice, caring, and very hard working. Don't be fooled by the website though. It states "Wellness starts with nutrition. That's why Holiday's professional dining team designs their meals around your dietary and nutritional needs. We work with you to optimize your health with three delicious chef-prepared meals every day of the week." That's absolutely bogus! I've heard from multiple residents, including my mother, that the food is horrendous, often inedible. I've been told that residents will even leave the dining room out of frustration regarding the lack of food quality. The food is often carb and starch heavy which is not nutritional. To call the food "chef" prepared is really a stretch. The site management team also seems to lack experience or competence and is often unable to assist residents with concerns or challenges. The website also states that this location is 30 minutes from Portland, which it is not, and also states, "you can reach downtown Seattle where you can watch ships at the Port of Everett", I'm not even sure what that means... The previous GM was great but disappeared after this company changed hands.

We love this property. My brother loves playing pool with the other residents and loves the food. It’s affordable for our family and the location is perfect. We have a studio apartment which is perfect for a single person.

I was very happy that I was able to get my disabled son into Cascadian Place in Everett, WA. He is in his late 50's and disabled due to an injury on the job. Many places wouldn't take him because he is under 65. He is so happy there. He is close to his children and granddaughter and is able to have a little dog. The facility is nice and the location close to his doctors and dentist. He says the staff are really nice and friendly and that they are taking extra efforts to keep the place COVID19 free. It makes me so happy to know that he is in a safe place. I live in another state and it takes a lot of stress off of me. Mothers never stop worrying..
