Serenades at Longwood

I visited so many facilities for my grandfather. I am so grateful that Serenades at Longwood had an available room just when we needed it. It was by far the NICEST facility we had seen. It was so clean and the management staff made us feel so welcome. Then once we moved my grandfather in we realized the entire staff was professional and super nice. Everyone seemed to sincerely love their job and I am so happy to have them taking care of my grandfather. He is so important to me and my family that I couldn't imagine leaving him in anyone else's care. I completely trust my grandfather to Serenades !!!

My mom lives at Serenades and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this facility. My mom lived in 2 different memory care facilities (out of state) before coming here and we did not get the best quality of care. We found Serenades and moved her down to Florida and my mom has never been happier! The facility is always clean plus has an amazing courtyard for the residents to use whenever. The staff is always wonderful and I get phone call and text updates regularly on my mom..which has been amazing during the pandemic when we can’t regularly go see her. My mom stays well groomed and active and I highly recommend sending a loved one here. Wendy helped us moved in a year ago and is always so sweet and available to help us with any questions or concerns that come up. We love Serenades at Longwood!

My brother, Philip, and I cannot say enough good things about Serenades in Longwood, Florida. It was 2 ½ years ago, when our family could no longer keep our mom, who’s memory was deteriorating, safe in a home environment. We were sad and, admittedly, very concerned about the care she would receive away from us. When we met Carolyn, the Director of Serenades, and her staff, we were immediately put at ease. They were knowledgeable and welcoming but, more importantly, their treatment of the residents was evident. We saw caregivers speaking kindly and with encouraging words prompting baths or participation in the various activities offered. The facility smelled fresh and clean, and the residents always appeared well groomed and – simply said – cared for. Before the pandemic, we could visit anytime we liked, and the circumstances remained consistent – mom looked healthy and clean, and the staff were always attentive to her needs. During the pandemic, we were encouraged to visit mom either remotely or at a safe distance. Sadly, our mom passed a few months ago on New Year’s Day following our father who died a week earlier on Christmas Eve. Though we miss them every day, we are grateful that our mom received such wonderful care from a group of people dedicated to helping the elderly live their best lives possible. Not only do we want to express our sincere appreciation of Carolyn but all of her staff, particularly Ainsley and Sabaeda.

My aunt has resided at Serenades by Sonata at Longwood since 2015. The care she receives has been exceptional. The staff is kind and compassionate, and always available to help or answer a question. She feels well cared for and our family feels the same way. Everyone at Serenades is involved in my aunt’s care. I receive frequent communications and updates from the staff and appreciate the accessibility of management. Anytime I or my family visit we are greeted by friendly faces and I am always amazed at how everyone is aware of my aunt’s status, from the immediate caregivers to management. It is truly a team effort to make certain the residents are well cared for and comfortable. We appreciate the hands on approach and attention to detail.
