Ridges at Peoria Senior Living

The Ridges has been a HUGE blessing to our family! The staff is incredibly caring and goes out of their way to offer support and make the residents feel loved and cared for. We are so grateful to have found this placement and have worked closely with staff and been so impressed as to the care and consideration of our loved ones well-being and happiness. Communication has been seamless and staff does a great job of implementing changes and interventions immediately. We are so thankful for the amazing team!

I helped my neighbor move to Ridges several months ago and she is so happy she did! She loves her apt and has made many friends, participates in events, and enjoys life again. I can’t say enough about the help she has received from the staff and George the director is a particularly helpful and caring person. The services they provide are exceptional- taking residents to doctors, shopping,etc. thank you Ridges for such a well run, clean and safe place to live!!!

My mom moved into this place a year ago. From the beginning her main door lock wasn't working right. She turned in more than 1 work order to get it fix and they kept giving her the excuse they don't have the part or no one knew how to fix it(replace). She didn't want me to say anything out of FEAR OF BEING EVICTED. She as seen tenants get evicted for stupid reasons. My husband had to fix her screen sliding door cause no one there knew how to do it. She hadn't lived there for 6months and they raised her rent shortly after she moved and then again and again until she couldn't afford to live there. They raise people's rent to extreme rates that seniors can't afford forcing them to live outside their means ie..outside their budget. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO MOVE HERE!!! They don't want to fix anything especially safety issues with door locks, I guess they do that so they can charge their tenants lockout fees to get them back into their Apt. They also charge a $35 well-check fee to check on your loved ones that are in the independent living section. Front desk staff very nice and polite but their maintenance dept needs to improve and learn their jobs or get the part to fix front door locks. That is a big safety hazard!!! AGAIN DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

I call it "the cruise ship"! Meals, activities, entertainment, great staff! All of the three buildings are beautifully decorated with comfort and stimulation in mind. We often hang out in the common area known as the living room. My parents are in Garden ridge for the past year. My father is in early stages of Parkinson's and lewy body with dementia which is reason for moving in. We take advantage of the assistance services from staff and Mom gets a little break with ADL for my father. They have made wonderful friends with residents as well as the caring staff. They have a great time in the dinning room socializing everyday! The dinning room is fun, the food is ok. Administration tries to keep residents involved and have weekly meetings with chefs opening up to residents suggestions. The apts are lovely with views,patios and space! We do wish there was more nursing staff available daily. Living in CA I'm grateful my parents are here and are taken care of with loving and caring staff. There's quality of life, kindness , caring and dignity at The Ridges in Peoria !
