My mother was in Renaissance for 4 years in Assisted Living and Memory Care. Our goals were safety, compassionate assistance, and an amount of stimulation acceptable to her. She received these without question, even through the pandemic! The attention to safety during that time was better than some of the hospitals where I worked. She decided how much or how little to participate in group activities. Once she moved to memory care this only improved. The staff were loving and caring with her and she was always clean and dressed. Her room was also clean with a pleasant odor. As her hearing and dementia worsened, activities became less enjoyable, but she always had a warm smile for the staff and exhibited great affection for them. It was seamless getting hospice involved at the end of her life. The administration was responsive to our needs within the constraints of client safety. Like any dining situation, some meals were better than others, but overall seemed balanced, nutritious, and modified for the client as needed. My only frustration over her time there was with the business office, but always was eventually resolved. I looked at a number of options in the Tampa Bay market and this was the best for us. Our entire family thanks them for their care.

Alli was wonderful and kind. She took her time and answered all my questions. The Renaissance is a beautiful place and I feel that it will be a good fit for my brother. Looking forward to happy visits and some quality time spent with him.

This is a wonderful senior living facility. They have such friendly and helpful staff to help people enjoy living here. They have so many good activities.....exercise class, water aerobics, live music events, art, games, movies! They also have 3 wonderful meals each day, it is as nice as going to a true restaurant. The apartments are good size and nice place to live. They also have a pretty pond out front with birds and turtles who like it as much as residents like it and often sit outside to enjoy it. Rental price is reasonable for such a good facility.

Today marks six months since my Mom relocated a few miles from another ALF (a larger chain) to Renaissance North Tampa. My family and I was so impressed initially by everything Renaissance offered (and by its wonderful leadership and team members), but I waited six months to allow time to be very fair in my assessment. All I can say is, we are so thrilled that Mom has moved to Renaissance! She resides in the Independent Living building and is thriving! The receptionists are all very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The activities and celebrations offered are fun, varied and creative -- and Mom has immersed herself in many different classes and gatherings. She is particularly fond of the exercise classes and Bible studies. Leadership has been accessible since Day One. The entire initial process of handling the paperwork and getting her physically moved was so much smoother than I could have anticipated. And everyone working there gets an A+ for their enthusiasm, positive (and upbeat!) attitudes and always trying to be helpful! The grounds are beautiful with mature landscaping, and we all enjoy going for walks all around the campus when the weather isn't quite as hot as it is now. Mom's apartment is perfect for her needs. Moving her from a building that included Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care into a building that is strictly Independent Living was a game-changer. We are grateful for her new environment! Kudos to the employees and leadership! Thank you all so very much!
