Poet's is definitely among the very best options in Loudoun County, in terms of a caring & engaged staff, nice rooms, and a strong client focus. There are a wide range of activities for residents who wish to participate, and ample opportunities for your loved one to make friends. Outreach (video calls with family / primary caregivers and a regular newsletter highlighting resident activities & events) provide a valuable window into the memory care world, and the day-to-day experiences of our loved ones.

My first visit to Poet's Walk Leesburg, A Spring Hill Memory Care Center located off Battlefield Parkway, is a beautiful location for senior assisted living. At first, I wasn't aware this facility existed because the Google Maps directions isn't correct. Or better yet, not accurate for this specific location. But it does get you there without too much inconvenience. The building is a single level property that extends the length of almost two blocks, which is quite a bit of area for a facility that seems to exist only when you're aware of it. But, I think that is a plus. The senior living quarters are not too close to the real traffic of Battlefield Parkway or its furthest and most active road Route 7. In any case, this facility is beautifully laid out and the interior is spacious and very welcoming. I met a few of the residents while I was there and they seemed very relaxed and comfortable. In addition, the staff was super friendly and ready, willing, able to provide assistance. Even if you feel that you don't need it, it is offered with sincerity just the same. The rooms are large and the restrooms are just as spacious too. I see quite a few senior living communities and I like the Poet's Walk after just one visit.

Compare to 3 places that my loved one stay after hospital, in rehab, nursing homes-- Poet’s walk in Leesburg is the best!! Savannah is really above and beyond of every thing!! She had all communications between me, my son, rehab and poet’s walk in Leesburg to make sure all transitions process be smooth and easy!! She made me feel comfortable how to deal with my loved one regarding his “ transfer trauma” to his new home in Poet’s Walk in Leesburg!! She is always there for you. I had a great experience touring poets walk for my grandmother. I worked with a lady named Savannah during my tour and she was great, she answered my million questions with a smile on her face and was so helpful and patient during the tour. The facility was clean (no bad smells which is a huge factor for me) organized and well ran.
