This is a top tier assisted living facility. The staff is professional and compassionate and caring. They host a variety of activities for the residents. It is clean and well maintained. I attended a craft show they hosted. They are having a white elephant auction on nov 15 with funds raised going to activities for the residents.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. They were so neglectful to their residents over Covid. They left them in their apartments alone in the dark, if the resident wasn't with it enough to pull the shades. They charge extra for every level of care, but do not perform the care or give the residents who are paying extra anymore time. That extra money goes to corporate. Parkview does not have enough staff and their staff are not trained to provide care. They have 1-2 caregivers in the building actually working with the residents. They count office workers in the ratio who don't directly work with residents. They do this to look like they have the right staff to resident ratios, but they don't actually provide that time to the residents. Housekeeping is terrible. The food isn't great. The whole building reeks of urine. This used to be a great place for seniors to transition from being independent to needing a little more help with meals and chores. Now it looks like a nursing home but without the staff to provide nursing care. They should not be taking on residents with dementia, serious medical issues, or anyone who needs a lot of hands- on care because Parkview just can't provide it. Many residents have had serious falls and other issues due to Parkview's neglect.

I have am so impressed with the caring and thoughtful staff. They face some significant challenges daily but always work with kindness and the best interest of the patience first. I have had family members in other facilities and this by far is a superior place that allows the independence some patience desire, yet the support and care that they all need. I appreciate all they do.
