Orchard Pointe at Surprise

There is a lot to be worried and concerned about these days regarding the care of your parents and/or loved ones. Choosing the right care facility is difficult at best and can be very unsettling with the changes that occur with age. I am happy to write this review, and can only hope to do the staff at OPS Surprise justice in expressing my overall level of satisfaction with the care provided to my parents. With my step mother, this was "the long good-bye".... and never once did I have any concerns about the excellent care she received during her stay. The staff, the management, and the extended health professionals always provided the highest quality of care and compassion, and I am eternally grateful to everyone for making her final chapter a pleasant one. For my dad...who after admitting his wife into OPS's care was a bit "lost" at times. They went out of their way to provide him with a seamless transition for her, and when it was time for him to became a resident, it was literally "like family"....in how they took care of him. The tone for the day to day care as well as the extended care is set by the leadership...and Rebecca and the entire team take it to heart, to personally provide the same level of care they would want for their family members. This "tone" filters all the way through the organization, and never once did I have any reason not to have total confidence in their system and their level of care. It is with great joy that I spend a few minutes attempting to convey my regards to the entire staff.... Thank you all for everything you do... and thank you for helping our family throughout this time of need. You are all to be commended for not only the job you do, but for the personal interaction, love and support you display all day...everyday. Thank you all again for your enduring support !!!

I cannot say enough, complimentary things about this community! First of all Zaira is an amazing Sales Director and did a wonderful job working with me and my clients. Her communication was flawless and at no time my clients feel pressured just extremely reassured about their loved ones next chapter. This community is clean and inviting and has an amazing team that kindly greets you and offers assistance whenever they can. The Executive Director personally introduced herself to my client and took the time to chat & build a rapport. I’m very appreciative of this team and look forward to working with them in the future!

I hope my post will help a family member before you decide to put your loved one in the memory care unit at Orchard Pointe at Surprise. We had to move our parents two years ago, it was an extremely difficult decision. At the time of our move the staff in the memorycare unit were caring and kind. After a year at Orchard Pointe Surprise they had a big turn over of staff in the memory care unit. From there things became very different, staff were very unhappy, there is a 100 percent turnover. My parents suffered under their care, the food was a hit or miss, whereas my parents lost weight and was left in their room most of the time. The director will tell you what you want to hear to appease you on your concerns. My parents care and concerns were not theirs. We had too many issues for their care to leave them there. I hope writing this will help you to decide on another place for your loved one. I have learned that these care homes are like selling "real estate" but they sell your elderly depending on how much you can pay. Do your own research when locating that difficult placement. The second move was like moving them the first time. Today they are thriving in their new location.

From the very first day, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel confident that we had made the right choice. The team at Orchard Pointe is not just professional, but they are genuinely caring individuals who go above and beyond to make residents feel at home. They treated my parents with the utmost respect, kindness, and compassion, always ensuring their comfort and well-being. The communication with us as a family was excellent; we were always kept informed and felt involved in their care. The community itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of activities and amenities that kept my parents engaged and happy. Whether it was the daily activities or just the friendly conversations, my parents always felt valued and cared for. Orchard Pointe of Surprise is more than just a place for senior living; it's a family. The incredible staff made all the difference in my parents' lives, and we are forever grateful for the love and care they received. I highly recommend Orchard Pointe to anyone looking for a safe, loving, and enriching environment for their loved ones.
