I visited Oakmont Gardens last week. It's being renovated right now. Some big improvements! I saw a new model unit they just finished. Looked great!

I have been in Assisted Living at Oakmont Gardens for 20 months now, after a very bad fall and several operations. Since coming here I have felt cared for, and I feel lighter and happier than I have in decades. The care staff, especially Sunday to Friday, are fantastic and thoughtful and I feel very safe here. My apartment looks out onto an inner courtyard with flowering shrubs and trees, and gives me independence and quiet when I want it. Oakmont Gardens is pet-friendly; there are many little dogs and I myself have a cat companion. The many social activities, range from games to art-making, cooking demonstrations, discussions, music programs and movies and allow for great companionship and interaction with peers. The three Activities staff members are thoughtful, outgoing and include as many of us as want to be part of this community and they plant seeds for inclusiveness, compassion and cooperation among us residents. The good and varied meals in the dining room make us happy and bring us together. I am very thrilled to have found this community and hope to thrive here for years to come. Elisabeth Cornu

I was fortunate enough to have a catered luncheon for our Soroptimist Oakmont Wine Country club, and after having approval from Morgan, their Ex Director, Chef Fred made us the most scrumptious food! It was absolutely five star in service, food presentation, quality, and price. If you have ever been on a five star cruise, this is how it compares. Thank you Chef Fred. You made our Installation Luncheon delightful in every way.

The facility was beginning a remodeling project but even so, we thought the upgrades we did experience were well done. We felt that the atmosphere of the whole place was a welcoming one and the staff we did meet were also professional and friendly. We could see ourselves living there when the time comes.
