My parents moved to Morningstar in 2017 and my mother is still there today. The staff at Morningstar is tremendously supportive, especially as my father moved from independent living to memory care. My Mom’s apartment is spacious with beautiful views. The facility and grounds are clean, updated and well maintained. The social events are an important part of Mom’s life and help her to remain active. I highly recommend Morningstar. Our experience there, over the last seven years, has been outstanding.

I have worked alongside Morningstar and its staff for 2.5 years and have had nothing but a positive experience. The dedication they show their residents is outstanding. The facility is clean, friendly, and the caregivers are superior. I love working with their staff and feel grateful they are apart of the Billings community.

I am the caregiver for my sister who moved from her home of 45 years into Morningstar Independent Living in June 2023. The staff at Morningstar is always pleasant, available and they have gone out of their way to meet my sister's special needs as her mobility, speech and cognitive health have declined. (They even call her daily to assure she's ok.) I'm now moving my sister into Morningstar Assisted Living. When I first talked to the staff about my concerns, I was told, "Your sister's safety is our top concern. When you decide to have her move we'll help make it happen." She is now moving and the staff's assistance is exemplary. Once the decision was made, the staff moved quickly to facilitate paperwork, ready an apartment and connect me with movers. As a caregiver, I've been supported by Morningstar during every step of this journey.

Do not bring your loved one here. They never have enough staff and are full of excuses as to why things aren’t right. My grandma recently had a stroke and showed signs of clearly not feeling right—so much so that the front desk lady offered to get her a wheelchair, which she does not usually need—but no one listened to her, they simply wheeled her to her room and left her. She pushed her button for help but after waiting over 30 minutes, no one still showed! When my grandma asked about seeing a nurse she was told the nurse, who is very clearly an issue all her own, was “in a meeting”. Thank God my uncle lived nearby and my grandma was well enough to contact him for him to pick her up and take her to the ER where imaging confirmed she’d had a stroke. Morningstar has worked to shut us up and say this was all on my grandma. This is the straw that broke the camels back. When she needs assistance she waits a minimum of 30 minutes for help some times an hour or just doesn’t get help. I write this not just to share my grievances but to urge you not to have your loved one have this same experience! We are so lucky the stroke wasn’t as severe as it could’ve been!! Update: I see you’ve responded below and while I appreciate you taking the time to do so, your records are absolutely false, there was no one who responded within 3 minutes. We will be reporting this incident just as others have indicated, this is for the safety and wellbeing of all residents. We are not the only family who has had such horrific experience.
