Five Stars! A Wonderful Experience! I cannot express enough how thrilled I am with the exceptional care and services offered at Morada Meadow Lakes. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this facility is dedicated to providing the highest level of care for its residents. The staff’s attention to individual care needs is truly remarkable. They take the time to understand each resident’s preferences and make sure they feel heard and valued. It’s not just a resident for them. They have become a family and when you can’t always be there you want to have some family around and for me. This has been a blessing as this day and age it is extremely hard to trust people to take care of family members or to help with their care or even just keep an eye on them. What really stands out, though, is the diverse array of activities and outings available. Whether it’s a scenic group trip, a themed event, or even specialized workshops, there’s always something exciting to participate in. It’s so heartwarming to see the residents engage in these activities, creating lasting memories while maintaining a vibrant social life. I also have to praise the meticulously planned and executed menu. The meals are not only delicious but also thoughtfully designed to meet the nutritional needs of seniors. My father is a diabetic and has been on insulin since 1992 through their help and menu planning. My father has been insulin free for over six months now a lot of work on his part but without being able to Bank on the dietitian and nutrition help, I’m not sure this would’ve been a possibility. There’s a wide variety of options, and the dining experience feels just like home—comforting, nutritious, and enjoyable. Overall, the attention to detail, the variety of activities, and the focus on care at morada Meadow Lakes in North Richland Hills, Texas have made this an incredibly positive experience. It’s a true gem, and I’m confident any family would feel at ease knowing their loved ones are in such good hands. Highly recommend!

My family moved our mom into Morada Meadow Lakes, following on the heels of some friends of hers who also moved there from the same assisted living facility. Everything about Morada was superior! What impressed us the most was how everyone at Morada, residents AND staff, seemed to be so much happier than at either of Mom's last two residences. Unfortunately, Mom passed away recently after a brief illness, so she only got to enjoy Morada for about 7 months. The staff have been incredibly gracious throughout this experience, especially Tanya, the Executive Director. When my time comes to need an Independent Living facility, I would choose Morada in a heartbeat.

My mom has lived there the past 5 years. We moved her because she was lonely and bored at home. At Morada, she has made many very good friends. She enjoyed the some of the activities they have there such as line dancing, bingo, and crafts. They have several people come in throughout the year to play music. They also have outings to restaurants and to the store. The staff here is wonderful!! They are all so caring and kind. I highly recommend this facility.

I checked out a few places and Morada Meadow Lakes stood out simply because it didn't feel or smell like a nursing home. It's more of a college dorm with walkers. The staff and other residents are great and I've gotten to know many of them very well. My mom has been there nine months now and she was a little apprehensive at first but now gets up, dresses, takes her meds, and heads down the hall for breakfast. Most days she doesn't come back to her apartment until after dinner in the evening. She has a core group of friends and they all meet in the lobby for fun and games and she has occasionally complained that her stomach hurts from laughing so much. With her Alzheimer's, she can't remember their names but they have become family. We both enjoy the food and she gets plenty to eat. She is close so I stop by twice a week, I do her laundry and she spends Sunday afternoons at my house. Many residents have pets and while my mom wouldn't be able to care for one, she has adopted everyone else's dogs and never leaves her room without treats for them. Sometimes I worry that her condition would make her a better candidate for a full-blown nursing home but with talking alarm clocks to remind her to take her meds, her walker, electric recliner, FaceTime on her phone, a Ring camera that allows me to check in on her once in awhile, and the helpful staff, she is safe and we seem to get things done. I'd recommend taking a tour, having lunch there and see what you think. They are right in the middle of a big remodeling in the public areas but once it is done, it should look great.
