My mother moved to Mission Ridge in October 2024 and she has never been happier. Just about every time I see her she tells me how thankful she is to live here. The property is tastefully designed, well maintained, and impeccably clean. I am there at least twice a week and every single time I see staff members going out the their way to help my mother, talk with her, and encourage her. There is a lovely restaurant with a view of a manicured outdoor space. Mom can eat meals with friends there, or just sit and visit over coffee, anytime 7am to 7pm. The executive chef and his staff spend a lot of time just mingling and having fun with the community as well as making sure their needs are met. There is always an activity to look forward to -- Mom really likes the daily chair exercise classes, games, Bible studies, church services, holiday parties, outings, and live music. I especially appreciate the on-site salon and the beautiful job the stylist does with Mom's hair and nails. Every member of the staff at Mission Ridge, from the front desk to those we trust to enter Mom's apartment for maintenance and cleaning, treat our mother like a valued neighbor. My family and I feel so blessed to have found this place.

This is a beautiful place to call home. Besides the beautiful facilities, what I really noticed is that everyone takes such ownership of the residents. If you need something, they make it happen. It is NEVER "not my job". The teamwork here is absolutely impeccable. Mission Ridge has independent living, assisted living, and memory care, so people don't have to move to different places if they need adjustments in level of care. Fue Hang, General Manager, is phenomenal; Sherri (head care coordinator) is fabulous and CeCe (dementia care expert) is amazing. The facilities are new, and include a large Gathering Place downstairs. There are Fireside Chat rooms in each floor. Library Center brings books in weekly. Meals are included, and residents order from a menu, just like a restaurant. I will say that we tried to tip a server and she came and found us to let us know that she couldn't take any tips. There is a salon, workout room, physical therapy room, and even a bar. We feel very lucky to have found Mission Ridge. It has been life-changing for my mother.

Big Life Change My wife and I have owned nice homes for 54 years of married life and never considered a change in our living situation until my wife was diagnose with dementia which quickly advanced to late-stage dementia. I did not want to place her in memory care, but felt I could not provide the support and care she deserved. After looking at many options I felt Mission Ridge would best fit her needs and I could be in an independent living apartment near her. We felt better about our decision to leave our lovely home in Eugene, OR after seeing the positive environment offered at Mission Ridge. Since our move here, I have been most impressed with the cleanliness, positive staff at all levels, personable general manager, and excellent food. My expectations have been exceeded at all levels. Although my wife and I have only been here for a short time, I am most happy we decided to move to the Springfield Mission Ridge. Read less

Mission Ridge independent living is a great place to call home. The general manager goes above and beyond to help. I was having trouble with my printer and he took time out of his busy day to look at it for me and got it to print. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to spend their retirement years in a safe, loving environment.
