I fell in love with this place immediately when touring it for my parents. Patty Crowley was so helpful, informed, conscientious and absolutely lovely to work with. She dedicated more than an hour of time during our tour showing us various units that would meet the needs of my parents. She answered all of our questions, offered us great perspective and valuable information. She was kind to my young daughter who joined me for the tour. Patty talked through with us all the information needed for us to understand what it would be like for my parents to live in Maplewood. Maplewood Place is a friendly, clean and beautiful community. The rooms are comfortable. The shared spaces are vibrant and attractive. The dining hall, inviting. All the residents seem to be known, and there was sense of care shown to each other. I really love all that Maplewood has to offer.

Patty Crowley, Community Sales Director at Holiday Maplewood Place, was superb with us during our 3-hour tour. Patty is bright, personable, and informed, and was very patient in responding to our many questions and concerns. She gave us her time and attention freely. Patty is also clearly deeply caring of her residents and their programs; this was also most impressive. We recommend Patty wholeheartedly and without reservation. Kudos to Patty who was so helpful and patient and gentle and kind with both me and my partner. She tirelessly showed us different apartments that were available and then helped me to get through the whole process. She was wonderful and the place looks lovely. I’m sure my partner will be very happy there.

My mother was in the Life Guidance (memory care) section for a few months. Within the first 6 weeks of her move in she contracted scabies, which one of the aids blamed my 1 year old twins as being the carriers. Ridiculous. Her room was never cleaned, I would have to ask repeatedly for cleanings and it was never done. There are no activities scheduled for LG residents aside from watching a work out video and playing bingo, my mother was just left to sit alone in her room. The nursing staff is nice but incredibly short staffed and thus are not attentive. There was one nice aid who was wonderful, but the rest were unkind. Residents in LG do not seem to stay long and 4 others left for other facilities in the 6 months she was there. I would HIGHLY CAUTION family members i placing their loved one at this facility. Your money does not go to their care or well being, only in keeping them fed and in a locked unit.
