I had the opportunity to meet and tour the facility with the lovely and friendly Kelly Astbury, Director of Sales and Marketing. I was immediately impressed by her warm and caring personality, and it was clear that she genuinely cares about the residents. Kelly was well-organized and prepared to answer all my questions, which helped me make an informed decision for my mom’s new residence. Once my mom was settled into her new environment, Kelly checked in with her to ensure the transition was a pleasant experience. Thank you, Kelly, for your dedication and for going above and beyond. Your efforts have made a positive impact on my mom’s daily routines, and we truly appreciate everything you’ve done.

When trying choose an assisted living facility for my mom, I was immediately impressed as soon as I walked into the lobby of how warm, inviting and filled with natural light it was. The staff, everyone from management, health and wellness, kitchen staff, etc. have all been caring, helpful and friendly. Both the staff and living environment truly makes The Landing of Hamilton feel like home. I have complete confidence in the care that my mother is receiving and I feel so relieved that she is in a safe environment that I know if she has any problems or concerns, that they will be taken care of. I would whole-heartedly recommend The Landing of Hamilton to anyone that is looking for an assisted living facility for their loved one.

The Landing has been amazing for my mom. The process was so smooth with Kelly helping with admissions, Jen helping with all the my moms medical issues and Lynda available to help both my mom and our family transition to assisted living. The staff is welcoming and caring. The aides, nurses and front desk staff are always offering encouragement and care. We could not have found a better living arrangement or caring and compassionate caregivers.

The first time I called The Landing, the person who answered the phone was extremely rude. Then when I went to visit my friend, I found that masks were required for absolutely no reason. How terribly awful for residents so that they would have fewer visitors for shorter times. Also, because most of them have hearing problems, they can't possibly understand a person wearing a mask. I called the person who left his number saying he wanted to talk to someone who had complained, but he never returned my phone call. I thought that the best thing to do would be to talk to him before I left a review, but, no concern at all. Addendum: After leaving my first review, an employee said he left me a voicemail. Never happened! Then he said to call him. I did and had to leave a message. Of course, he never called back. If someone lies and can't even return a simple call, I'd really have to wonder about the care of my loved one. With that said, the staff working with the patients that I have seen have been nice enough in my very limited experience.
