Beautiful & clean facility. The residents seem so sweet and appear like family. The staff is so kind and so fun! They enjoy hosting family nights, creative and fun activities and always striving to ensure their residents are happy & healthy.

My mom stayed in memory care here and of the 3 places she has stayed, this is the absolute worst and most expensive. Just to name a few reasons why…..Soiled linens were only changed when I changed them, the staff is very young and inexperienced, residence were left unattended at times with no one to be found and the rooms were very seldom cleaned. They raise your level of care to get more money but you don’t receive any added care. Beware of corporate owned facilities. All the money goes to the top and the ones doing the work get minimal. From what I understand, they do not put cameras up in common areas to protect themselves from lawsuits. They charge “community fees” of $3,000 just to get in the facility. If you leave for any reason(neglect), they keep that. Do your homework. In the short time my mom was there, I had to tell the aides at least 4 times that someone was laying on the floor in their room. We went to a nursing facility. Yes, the building is older but there is …No community fee, no 30 day notice, a nurse is in the memory care unit 24/7, they have the same staff work the same shifts so the residence can get familiar with them, and if you leave for a few days you aren’t charged. They provide and change linens daily. The aides aren’t the ones washing laundry and cleaning floors, they have people for that and Because I am paying significantly less a month, I am able to pay a sitter to give mom additional care.

Moved my Mom into Heartis on February 14, 2024. This facility is wonderful! We visited other larger facilities in Longview but they lacked the warmth and friendlyness that Heartis has. Corey and Miranda were awesome, so helpful and very nice. I feel very comfortable with my Mom being in their care.

Heartis of Longview is a great place! Miranda, Amy, Corey and Sara have been more than accommodating with all our questions and help getting my dad situated in his new place. All of the aids and techs are very helpful and pleasant every time we visit. They have many activities for residents to participate in and everything is so tidy and clean.
