It's the nicest place to spend your twilight years. Good food, bar, movie theater, salon, pool and a hot tub. My grandma likes it. Had dinner with my grandma this last Friday and it was catfish day. It was really good and everyone likes the salad bar.

Listen the residents are awesome I loved helping and working with them all upper management is the problem they have so many turn overs with staff management talk about all the staff and make them feel unwanted and unappreciated the director at the Chanel location is a mean girl she talks about everyone and she is racist. I have seen her and the then head nurse purposely treats people badly. Don't work here

Amanda Renee Brown This company hired me as a dishwasher a few weeks ago. The nursing staff was amazing, but I worked with the kitchen crew. The chefs in the kitchen were extremely unprofessional and emotional, and I was expected to produce more fruit than the other non-minority women. I felt unwelcome and undervalued, and I was not comfortable speaking up. The amount of work I was expected to do was unreasonable. As a result of my gender and skin color, I felt severely discriminated against and outcast. This discrimination took an emotional toll on me, leaving me feeling isolated, devalued, and demoralized. To make matters worse, I felt like my peers and superiors were actively excluding me from opportunities and conversations. I heard the chefs talking about me when I was on my lunch break. No one ever tried to build rapport with me, or even learn my name. I tried to reach out to them, but my attempts to bridge the gap were met with coldness and indifference. I felt invisible and my efforts unacknowledged. On the first floor, the kitchen did not own enough plates for some dishes to be dirty or not in use. In that moment, I realized that no matter how hard I worked, I was still invisible and unappreciated. This caused a lot of stress and tension, especially when we were short-staffed or during busy periods. I found myself having to work harder to keep up, and still not being respected by the other chefs. It was a difficult situation to be in. Every day, I would come into work to find that the dishes were disorganized and had piled up since 5 or 6 in the morning and my shift started at 11. Unprocessed dishes (retail term) were not sorted or organized, and many containers were filled to the brim with food. Food like grits, eggs, gravy, and biscuits. Mr. Rudd claims that I wasn't cutting it, or that I was slow at my work. My job was to wash dishes, not throw away or excessively scrape pans until I was bleeding or had broken my skin down to where I had rashes coming up and down my arms. In reality, it was slow to wash the dishes rather than just getting them wet or washing them underneath debris that had accumulated for hours. I have burned my arms and body with excessively hot water from the dishwasher when I was so eager to get plates clean as soon as I came in. I was burned another time by the water and it poked me in the eyes. This is unacceptable and not my fault. The company should take some of the money it is earning from the excessively high rent to buy more plates and linens. It's happened at every long term care facility I've ever visited. However, being nasty to people because they are quiet, smart, or different can get you in trouble. They will never hire anyone else besides the ones they already have.

The staff are very driven and hold great relationships with residents there, Administration takes great care of both staff and residents. Fox ridge holds a very positive work place, the menu is constantly evolving and activities are almost endless. I would be more than happy to know that my parents live in such a facility.
