I just wanted to amend my prior negative post, to say that management here is making great strides in improving all conditions, including food variety, maintenance, on-site physical therapy, physical enhancements to building structure, revamping of rooms, etc. Only thing still pending is high rent cost, which, considering current times, is unavoidable... Kudos, nonetheless, for the improved effort 👏🏼

My husband and I have lived at Echo Ridge for over four years. We are disappointed that the new owners (Atria Senior Living) are not taking care our community. We have so many repairs which need to be taken care of and they are ignoring these issues. Many of the needed repairs could be fixed but they are more concerned about revenue than taking care of senior citizens. Carpet over 25 years old is stained and dangerous, needs to be replaced. Dining room chairs with wheels falling off and structural problems that are totally being ignored. We have found that the company representatives will lie about things being repaired in order to avoid dealing with elderly residents. I would no longer recommend this facility.

We had my Mother here for 3 Months, the first week she was here she waited 3 weeks before she got her cable in her room. Then her AC went out it was near 100 here took them 8hrs before they finally got her AC fixed, my Mom was in the hosiptal for 3 days and lived on the second floor she asked the General Manger if they could bring a tray of food up to her room because she could not walk and she was still weak, she was told it was 5 dollers a plate for them to do this, My mom pays 2250 a month and is supposed to get 3 meals a day and is on a fixed income. We pulled my Mom out this past weekend I am very frustrated on how a 80 year old was treated especially by a General Manger. I would love to talk to upper management about other issues here.

My father spent much of the last months of his life at Echo Ridge, and it was a wonderful place for him. The staff there are very caring and concerned and make the effort to spend time with and get to know the residents. When I walked in today to move some of Dad's stuff out of his room the general manager was out helping serve residents their lunch in the cafe area. How many places do you get that kind of interaction from the GM? The facility is beautiful, inside and out, and they offer so much. There are so many activities available on the schedule and so many things to do in the building. The rooms seem to each have their own balcony or patio giving a nice place to sit when the weather is nice. For those who may need such things, they also have an on-site physical therapy office with staff who will help residents with their rehabilitative needs. Three meals a day are served in their very nice cafe, and if I remember correctly friends and family can eat free with their resident on Wednesday! There are regularly scheduled trips to the local store for those residents who like to have snacks or sodas in the kitchenette in their room, and other trips are arranged monthly. All in all it is a wonderful place, and Dad enjoyed it and the various people there, both residents and staff, as I did and the other members of our family too. Highest recommendation!
