Copley Place

Copley place is great place to work. We have literally a few of the best residents I've ever had the pleasure to work with. Management is awesome and cares about everyone's needs residents and workers alike.

I decided to write another review & I moved here May 1st 2024 & while this is a beautiful place there are some critical issues that need to be addressed by management such as the food & it seems this has been an ongoing problem as I've learned from residents who've lived here longer & even though, mng. wants to know our concerns, very little is being changed. Yes, they've started a sm. form to mark at meals abt. your dining experience abt. a wk. ago however it needs to be broader & this has been told to mng. by more than one resident & again the little form hasn't Changed! There has been multiple staff that has left/ fired in the almost 4 mos. I've lived here, many times they are so short staffed, residents have helped to serve at meals & in my opinion, this is unacceptable! Yes, there have been vacations but mng. knew in advance those staff were going to be off, so why didn't they plan accordingly & have others lined up to come in?????? When you decide to take a tour here, maybe you should ask more ???? Yesterday, Nov.15th I was served egg salad in my tray as it was brought up to. Me in the game rm. due to thevfact that our elevator was down & it was to be a sandwich however it was just egg salad thrown in the Sq. I asked the server & she told me she ? them in the kitchen & was told " we're just giving it to her like that" , now those in the Dining Hall, that could get there had an actual sandwich so that was pure hatred towards me from the kitchen staff!!! The staff here at Copley Place is disrespectful towards some residents including me & they definitely have their favorites!!! We as residents are to be respectful however it's not reciprocal. Now I will state NOT all staff is like that!!!! I don't understand the " cherry picking" that is done when it's clearly stated in your lease no smoking in your apt., no firearms or no alcoholic beverages in the common areas, only allowed in your ownApts. but yet these are ignored by management!!! I wish to to have a private birthday party in the Activity Rm. & was told I can't do that, even though it can be used for that, residentscan still,come in, eat what I have for my guests, the puzzlers can be there so what's the point to have it on the 12th of Jan., so depressed!!!! This place is so 😞

I love this place, the people are friendly, the dining is like being in a restaurant. It's really a nice place to visit and to live ☺
