Cogir of South Bay

I am recent (3 weeks ago) resident at Cogirs of South Bay. I had moved from another senior living community. The atmosphere feels similar to a resort hotel having a very helpful staff, a swimming pool, and an exercise room with modern equipment. There is a bus to transport residents for appointments, or for errands and shopping trips. This service is available by requesting the concierge to schedule ahead of time. My apartment is comfortable and fits all my furniture well. The kitchen is fully equipped with side-by-side refrigerator, dishwasher, electric range and oven, and microwave oven. The bedroom accommodates my bed, a desk and a dresser. I especially like the security of the 24-hour concierge for safety of residents returning late in the evening. The friendliness of the staff starts from the top as demonstrated by the Executive Director. I feel comfortable and welcomed here. The menu and food selection are excellent.

Hiring Event: I wasted my day off going into this event. My impression was negative and felt management was disrespectful to my time. I felt brushed off after a careless 5 minute interview, which was interrupted a few minutes in. I was then tossed off to some women who clearly was rushing through the interview. I even dressed up for this interview...what a joke.

I went to the hiring even. . I felt rushed didn’t get a chance n I just found out that the lady that was doing the interviews brought her ppl in. What’s the point of doing a hiring event

The people are nice staff,directors etc. The place is good,clean and food is awesome and tasty.
