I came here from rehab at Nazareth Center to a respite program and then signed up to stay. I have found the staff here to be friendly and very accommodating. The food is good and I understand the difficulty of cooking for a large number of people with diverse diets and tastes. I also understand that, as we age, our patience diminishes. But the staff takes it all in stride. I am well satisfied with the overall experience.

Cedarhurst has a lot of fun activities. We go to the Blues games, casinos, movies. My daughter says I have more of a social life than she does. I truly do enjoy living here.

My mom spent 2 1/2 years at Cedarhurst Tesson Heights and although it’s not ever going to measure up to your own home, it was a very friendly and pleasant place to live. My mom loved playing bingo, doing crafts or an occasional happy hour with Glennette, who was an absolute doll. There seemed to always be something going on for the residents…although the weekends were less active. There were many wonderful aides and workers who are always willing to help when asked. On the medical side, over the years, there were many heads of nursing and most were good, but the one there now, Deanna, was a wonderful treasure! The last year or so of my mother’s stay is when Deanna arrived. That was when my mother’s health started to deteriorate more. She came at the most perfect time and made both mine and my mother’s life so much easier. If I had questions…she was there with answers…if she didn’t know the answer, she’d find out and get back to me ASAP. When she wasn’t working, she was still willing to work. I can’t tell you how many times I needed something or had a request and she was on top of it. If she wasn’t working and I texted her with a request or concern she would get back to me very quickly and made those things happen. She’s literally a miracle worker and has made such a huge difference. She’s definitely a keeper. To sum up…is it perfect? No, but it’s better than most and I’m pretty sure there’s nothing perfect out there. I was pleased (mostly) and would recommend this facility to others.

Hello! I’d like to share my experience with you on my stay at Cedarhurst-Tesson Heights. The people are so friendly and make you feel like home. The best thing is the food. You have choices to make on the menu. There are so many things to do too. We have bingo, pokeno, and lots of entertainment. I am busy all the time. Staff are great and make you feel at home.
