We are writing to express our heartfelt appreciation for one of your employees, Emily Watkins who works as the Concierge at Brickmont Johns Creek. During our nearly daily visits to Brickmont to visit our dad, Emily is the first person we see. We are always greeted by name with a smile and are consistently impressed by her dedication and compassion. Her consistent ability to connect with the residents, family members, vendors, and staff, always creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, is remarkable. We witness firsthand how she takes the time to listen to each resident's needs, staff needs, or caregivers' needs offering support and encouragement with genuine kindness. Additionally, in an effort to create a family environment, she has gone above and beyond and formed a monthly caregiver group called “Loving Arms” in order to connect family members within the community so we can offer support and camaraderie to one another as we witness our loved ones age. It's clear that Emily is not only committed to enhancing the quality of life for the residents but also inspiring her colleagues. Her leadership, positive attitude and dedication to exceptional care are invaluable assets to your team. She wears several hats and does what is needed most at the time, regardless if it is on her actual job description. One recent example would be Monday night when there was an appliance fire in the kitchen. Emily jumped into action caring for residents in the stairwell. Once safe to return the residents to their rooms, she, without hesitation, helped our father who needed assistance in the bathroom. We were so grateful to her unwavering and gentle care of our father. Thank you for fostering an environment that allows such dedicated individuals to thrive. I had an extremely frustrating experience with Brickmont. After placing a deposit for a room for my mother in April, she tragically passed away just two days after they cashed the check, several weeks before her move-in date. Despite their repeated promises to refund my deposit, it has now been four long months without a single cent returned. I've made countless phone calls, and while they occasionally respond, they consistently fail to follow through on their assurances. It’s clear that they are more interested in taking your money than providing any real service. Beware of this company; they will take your hard-earned cash and leave you hanging in your time of need.

Although Brickmont John Creek met my parents basic needs in assisted care, the memory ward was horrible. We appreciate the kindness of April and Trunetta, but the care did not match the enthusiasm they presented. My parents are happier in their new center. If you put your parents here. Visit often.

So grateful we found a loving caring facility for our Mom. We transferred her from one that neglected her. And now she’s feeling loved, feeling safe and she’s well cared for. She loves the food, the activities & her designated nurse. My brothers and I are feeling sooooo relieved. Thank you Brickmont for taking good care of LadyBug 🐞
