Care
Assisted Living
A living option for seniors or individuals who require assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, or medication management while maintaining a level of independence. Assisted living facilities offer personalized care plans and social activities that promote quality of life for their residents.
Memory Care
Memory care communities offer specialized care and support for individuals dealing with memory-related conditions, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia. These facilities are equipped with trained staff and offer engaging activities designed to promote well-being while ensuring a safe living environment.
Respite Care
Respite care is short-term or temporary care. Respite care can be provided in adult day centers, in private homes via home health agencies and in senior living communities, most often assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.
Neighborhood
Pulling from a variety of reliable data sources, Walk Score® measures the walkability of any address, helping you understand how easy it is to live a car-free lifestyle. Transit Score®, when available, measures how well a location is served by public transit. Scores range from 0 to 100, with higher scores indicating more amenities within walking distance and diverse transit options nearby.

The memory care facility at Bickford of Worthington has become my home away from home since my husband moved in nearly one year ago. The caregivers are very well-trained and provide a high level of care with kindness that I appreciate. The activity director provides an amazing array of activities each week and makes an effort to include each resident as much as possible. All staff members truly function as if they are members of a family, helping each other and having fun together and with the residents. Each caregiver knows and looks out for every resident of the facility, not just the ones residing in their particular neighborhood. Another great feature is the very layout of the building — it is open so that residents have plenty of room to exercise and explore; open so that caregiving staff can see what is going on in the neighborhood across from their own and in the broad well-furnished hallway in between; open so that caregivers are able to quickly hear or see the need to assist a resident or the caregiver in the neighborhood across from their own; and open so that family members can easily become acquainted with all of the caregivers, nurses, and residents throughout the building. Finally, I need to compliment the meal service — the food is very plentiful with lots of variety. My husband is cheerful and comfortable. I could not ask for more.

I lived at bickford for 4 years the food is nasty the healthcare workers don't take care of you the nurses are you don't give your pills on time Yuri has all the residents doing her work so she has no right calling anyone lazy except for herself it's a nasty worthless place I'm glad I moved to where I'm at now it's three times the size of where I'm was living

Settled husband (dementia) for one month of respite care while I received debilitating cancer treatment. Because of health complications, one month turned into four. I was able to recuperate because I knew he was content and receiving loving and good care by all the staff, who operate like family.
