Of all the places for a senior to call home, this place actually feels like home, with extra personal touches like the patio garden area at the center of the whole building, and the cafe area perfect for meeting with family and friends. The food is delicious and there is always something fun happening every time I visit with the residents. Thank you Bickford

The Bickford assisted living of Virginia Beach is one of the best facilities I've been able to work in to help residents as a Physical Therapist, but also visiting friends family members. This is a modern upscale assisted living that has a warm home feel! The best part about this assisted living is the amazing staff from the nursing team to the in-house therapy team that are extremely responsive along with an outstanding Kitchen that makes five star meals you would expect in any 5 star restaurant in the area. The Bickford always has great events that include all the residents and make them feel welcome along with an extremely clean environment that makes the residents and anyone visiting from outside feel comfortable! Would highly recommend it for a family member of my own or family friend if they want an upscale modern facility that makes you feel at home.

I toured this community and am so impressed with their approach to care using the Higher Path. The entire team was actively interacting and caring for residents. The building was designed for interaction and so homey and warm. If you are looking for a healthier, happier, safer place for your loved one you should visit Bickford.

Bickford of Virginia Beach is a great Assisted, Independent and Memory care facility. I have been there many times professionally as a first responder and the staff has always been helpful in caring for their residents. Heather Starr-Cress is so caring she always goes the extra mile when she takes on a potential new resident or just anyone who needs help. Definitely give her and her staff a call.
