Care
Assisted Living
A living option for seniors or individuals who require assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, or medication management while maintaining a level of independence. Assisted living facilities offer personalized care plans and social activities that promote quality of life for their residents.
Memory Care
Memory care communities offer specialized care and support for individuals dealing with memory-related conditions, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia. These facilities are equipped with trained staff and offer engaging activities designed to promote well-being while ensuring a safe living environment.
Respite Care
Respite care is short-term or temporary care. Respite care can be provided in adult day centers, in private homes via home health agencies and in senior living communities, most often assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.
Neighborhood
Pulling from a variety of reliable data sources, Walk Score® measures the walkability of any address, helping you understand how easy it is to live a car-free lifestyle. Transit Score®, when available, measures how well a location is served by public transit. Scores range from 0 to 100, with higher scores indicating more amenities within walking distance and diverse transit options nearby.

I sought input from friends, family and a care broker before touring numerous facilities. Bickford of Upper Arlington made the top of every list. The management team and staff are amazing. They are professional, experienced, kind, warm, compassionate and dedicated! The team goes above and beyond every day. My Mom is slightly introverted...so the team gently encourages Mom to participate in activities. My Mom is in good hands at Bickford! The director, Molly is active and involved...always connecting with residents and available to answer questions from family members. Molly is amazing. Thank you to all at Bickford for creating a safe, warm, compassionate space for my Mom.

Terrible place! The staff is horrible and the management never shows up when they are short staff! My mom on the 3rd sat in pee and poop for 6 hrs and nobody changed her. The nurse manager isn’t a RN and doesn’t know how to assess people correctly! I will be filing a complaint against this place for abuse and neglect! Molly is a terrible executive director, run from this place. Story point is better. If your loved one is here i suggest you move them asap!!

Caring and responsive leadership. My elderly mother likes living there. She says everyone is nice to her.

I recently toured the Bickford of Upper Arlington and was delighted with everything I experienced! From the moment I walked through the front door, I was greeted by a warm welcome from the staff and delicious smells from the kitchen! The visiting areas were cozy and bright and I felt very much at home! I would highly recommend any family member to consider this community if you need assisted living or memory care. Anna Gleaves.
