Bickford of Lancaster is by far the best Assisted Living Facility I have encountered in the past 16 years of advocating for several family members and family members of friends. The staff is caring, the facility is clean and nursing staff communicate promptly with any issues. They have many activities for the residents and encourage families to join. The food is very good and is not the standard institutionalized kind you find in other facilities. My aunt had three requests when she knew she had to move – make sure the staff are friendly, the facility is clean and they have good food. Bickford of Lancaster met all her expectations and far exceeded mine.

This facility has amazing potential. The staff are very courteous. It should be known that there is no working nurse present throughout the night. The caretaker staffing through the day is low.
