Care
Assisted Living
A living option for seniors or individuals who require assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, or medication management while maintaining a level of independence. Assisted living facilities offer personalized care plans and social activities that promote quality of life for their residents.
Memory Care
Memory care communities offer specialized care and support for individuals dealing with memory-related conditions, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia. These facilities are equipped with trained staff and offer engaging activities designed to promote well-being while ensuring a safe living environment.
Respite Care
Respite care is short-term or temporary care. Respite care can be provided in adult day centers, in private homes via home health agencies and in senior living communities, most often assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.

I would wait until they have staffing issues and care figured out. Negligence happening in many areas(housekeeping, personal care, safety, communication, etc) not just with my family member but others as well. There are a few staff members that truly care and make an effort whom we appreciate immensely but unfortunately they are outnumbered at the moment. This has been happening on and off for the last few years. The cost of care has increased by $2500(without change of mental status/needs) yet care supplied has decreased drastically. They send a letter out to inform us of the charges sometimes, not always. The rationale is they are hiring more staff or paying current staff more. I'm not seeing this reflected and at least one director has been fired for embezzlement yet they refuse to fix the bill and explain it away. I've been having to supplement care more than ever right now and document everything. We've been holding out through staff overhaul/changes during the last couple of years hoping things would improve as promised. It's hard to get a person with dementia resituated and feeling familiar with surroundings and we haven't found a facility open that fully fits his needs, unfortunately. Hoping things will rebuild better this time, but I would steer clear at the moment unless you have the ability and time to provide the care that's lacking yourself. I have addressed and shown proof of several ongoing issues with numerous staff and directors with no avail or consistency. Once in awhile things will begin to look up slightly but it's short-lived.

Just.Don’t. High turnover. Lack of ongoing communication. Difficulty in paying. Understaffed to meet the individual needs. Concerns with hygiene/smell, etc. I’m a patient person & I’m not saying there aren’t some who work very hard at their jobs, but after 10 weeks at this facility, we are over it! Frustrations abound!

We personally did not have a good experience at all. I agree with everything Kimberly wrote!!!! I realize just before I lost my dad 8 weeks ago that a new director was hired so I hope and pray she can turn things around and hire and train staff properly. I feel sad and sick when I think we were misled and didn’t get the care we were promised.

We found the staff very welcoming and helpful. They helped us cope with the many twist and turns in our situation and worked with us to find the proper solution. Great staff equals great care. And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the fantastic meals prepared by the Chef and his staff. I highly recommend this facility.
