Bay Square management has been known to prioritize efficiency over personalization, leading many to believe that residents are merely a number to them rather than unique individuals. From my personal experience and conversations with fellow employees, it is evident that the majority of management members do not prioritize the well-being of their employees. Their disorganization is not only evident in their treatment of employees, but also in their lack of providing necessary equipment to carry out job tasks effectively. This often results in blame being placed on employees for not meeting expectations, rather than addressing the root cause of the issue. This lack of consideration and respect towards both residents and employees paints a negative picture of Bay Square's management and their priorities. My personal experience. Signed, Ex-employee

Our family loves Bay Square where my 100 yo mother lives. We searched for several months for the right place for her. Some places I automatically rejected as they felt too institutional. But there were some places that I kept going back to as they were beautiful and well run. But somehow I just couldn’t sign the contract. My husband said “are you just wanting her to continue living with us? “ I said no as mom had told me “I’m going to live til 110 and you are just going to be too old to take care of me.” So one day I was sitting in a waiting room for mom to have an X-ray . We had a long wait so I decided to research a few more places. I made an appointment for the next day at Bay Square. Samantha welcomed me wonderfully and took me to a studio on the first floor. Sunny, airy, a space outside her window for bird feeders. I said “can you hold this room a day?” I brought my husband first and then my mom. This was it!!! There was no question!!!! Samantha and Jim who are the administrators are fabulous and approachable . Paula runs a wonderful activities program. The kitchen is so nice and serves great food. This place is really a home and we are all family. My mother has a full life here. We feel soooo lucky.

Bay Square is the model of a kind, compassionate residence for seniors. To call it "Assisted Living" doesn't do it justice. They DO assist in every way but MORE -- they focus on supporting their residents to live as fully as is possible to the very end. The staff, without exception, are helpful, happy, and kind. Prior to Bay Square, Mom lived at two very comfortable Senior Independent Living Residences and Bay Square outshone them both. We could not have been happier, and more grateful, for their care for Mom.

My mother went to BaySquare after a fall at home. It was an adjustment to transition from home to an assisted living, but she quickly became very happy there. She loved the social aspects...sitting by the fireplace talking with friends, sharing meals with others, exercise classes and Bingo. The care, meals and activities provided a balance for her happiness. Her care was exceptional. The staff were personal, caring and compassionate. They took the time and really got to know her and her likes and needs. Mom's last days of life were spent at BaySquare. It was so comforting for her to be there, at home, with people she knew and loved caring for her. BaySquare nursing staff treated her with great dignity and supported our family in this time of need. As a family member, there is nothing that I would change about my mother's experience with Bay Square.
