Atria, in a word, is amazing. The staff, the facility, the activities, the food, the sense of welcome and caring. We couldn’t be happier with the care mom receives. And best of all, mom says the same. The entire team at Atria San Juan is wonderful!

My name is Marie T. , Clinic Director for Empowerme Wellness. We have had a wonderful partnership with Atria San Juan offering Physical and Occupational therapy to residents on site. Our team has been here for over 2.5 years. We are thankful to work with amazing professionals that truly go above and beyond to serve the residents at Atria. The directors work hand in hand to help each department succeed. The employees here truly help in any area they are needed, the flexibility and willingness is amazing! The level of care and kindness the staff display is really special. My favorite part of Atria San Juan is the residents! We have family here! The relationships we have built are lasting and unforgettable.

The Staff @ Atria is FIRST-RATE! It warms my heart to randomly visit my mother & to see her emotional, intellectual & physical needs consistently being met by admin & support staff. Just yesterday, Christy, Helen & Sammi all interacted with our family in a genuinely kind way that makes us feel that there is no better environment for my mom to enjoy her retirement. We feel blessed!

We LOVE Atria San Juan! My husband and I toured six facilities before making the decision to move my 98-year-old mom into this warm, inviting facility in March, and we are so happy that we did. Jim, the Executive Director, is the nicest man and is so approachable. Meeting with him helped to cinch the deal! My mom needs caregivers to come in throughout the day and night to help toilet her and to take her to and from the beautiful dining room. The caregivers and med techs are all fantastic and are great about communicating with us about what is best for Mom. Not only is there a wide variety of menu options, but the food is excellent! My husband and I eat there regularly and enjoy getting to know the residents, who all make sure to welcome and include all new people. With a wide assortment of books in the library, my mom is so happy since she loves to read novels. For residents who enjoy games, every day you will find residents, along with staff, playing card games or bingo. Helen, the Director of Activities is so warm and loving; she truly glows! She brings in all kinds of entertainment for the residents and holds a daily "Happy Hour." The enclosed outdoor patios allow for the residents to get out to enjoy the beautiful weather here in San Juan and to enjoy doing some laps to get in some exercise. You will even find in the grass area a bin holding various outdoor games. Occasionally, we bring our grandkids to enjoy that space with their Great Grandma. A large outdoor grill is found in one patio where you can have family members over for a BBQ. On Memorial Day, my mom loved that the community took the residents outside for grilled hot dogs and hamburgers. She was excited to indulge in a beer and said that it was such a good day! I clearly could write a book about Atria San Juan, but I just want to share my passion for this very special facility for our older loved ones. Kathy Martin
