My mom has been a resident at the Atria Copeland for 5 years. When we needed her to move to a different room, they bent over backwards doing everything they could to accommodate. This staff is friendly from top down. They were patient, and went above and beyond to make sure this went off smoothly. Thank you Rebecca, Roxanne, Teresa, Sylvia and Hayley. Great team. I highly recommend this facility, their personal touch and empathetic caring makes a comfortable place for my mom.

I've toured every assisted living in the region and this one by far hands down is my favorite. Hayley and Rebecca really convinced me that this is the place for my loved ones. I've never seen so much resident engagement with activities as I have here. The dining room looked and smelled amazing when I toured at mealtime. So much better than the hamptons

If you care about the health of your loved one, do NOT send them here. When my mother first moved in, it was relatively nice. After the new administrator, Rebecca, took over, she began making staff, facility, food and activities changes that did not have the resident’s best interests at heart. Transportation was difficult to arrange, plumbing problems on numerous occasions caused the kitchen to only be able to serve bottled water and sandwiches, long time staff was fired. No RN on staff. My mother began battling pneumonia and, before we moved her out, was contracting it every couple of months. The last time she almost died. Upon moving her into her new facility (The Blake) I noticed dusty mold on all of her picture frames I was hanging. To my dismay, when I went to hang a large picture of hers, I found the back of it was covered in mold spores! (See pic). I am so glad I got her out of there when I did. She’s been at her new facility for 3 months and hasn’t been sick once. She has more energy and takes part in the many activities there. Her home health nurse recently said that she hasn’t heard her lungs sound this clear in the 3 years she’s known her. Obviously, it was the mold causing most of her respiratory problems. Beware.

LaChaka makes every day fun. She plans all kinds of activities to keep us busy and entertained. Her decorating capabilities are phenomenal and each event is decorated to fit the event. We have fun at Atria Copeland.
