I first became aware of Asher’s predecessor, Brentwood, some twenty years ago, perhaps even earlier. Brentwood was a fantastic place to live and I referred many of my clients. I suspect several ownership changes and obviously COVID was responsible for the numerous negative reviews currently displayed but I want to say, the changes implemented by new ownership have made a dramatic, and positive, impact on the facility. From the moment you walk thru the front door there’s an air of positivity and caring. Recent dealings with site management have been both professional and courteous. Results perfect. If you’re looking for an independent living community conveniently located and very professionally operated, consider meeting with their representative I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. This is the worst of the worst! It used to be a nice place years ago but tons of staff and management turnover in the last couple of years. My parents lived here 6 1/2 years, they spent a huge chunk of change in rent in those 6 1/2 years. Sagora overcharged my parents bank account about $200 a few months ago when they bought the place and they will not give it back. They said it was a rent raise but they should have never had a rent raise and they went back to charging them the correct amount the next month so they know they were wrong but won’t give them their money back. My parents are 90 years old and their apartment was next to the kitchen that was full of cockroaches. They had to close the kitchen a few times, telling residents something was broke or they were remodeling. Feeding them donuts and pizza they brought in. They sprayed the kitchen and sent cockroaches to the apartments by the kitchen and did nothing. When the dining room was open, my parents waited sometimes two hours to eat because there was one person in the dining room and then they wouldn’t even bring them what they ordered and told them that’s what we got. The office door and blinds are always closed. They don’t want to talk you!! Unless they are trying to get your money and get you to move in. I would not want anyone I love to live here!! Don’t be fooled by their empty promises. You will be highly dissapointed!! Sagora is the company that most recently bought it and changed the name from Brentwood Estates to Asher Point. Should have named it Cockroach Retirement Home. I didn’t think it could get any worse there… then Sagora took over. Theres more to tell, but that should be enough to make you think twice about this place! I moved my parents out!

Absolutely horrid place to live or work. No support from corporate or management. Kitchen is falling apart and infested with cockroaches. Office workers hide in the front office with the door lock and lights off. If you care about your loved ones, do not let them live here.

They were AMAZING and worked so well with my family to get my mother a wonderful place to live. There plenty of place, great prices and the location is fantastic. My mom had already started making friends and is looking forward to each day here. Thank you Brentwood!!!
