We moved my sister to Arbor Terrace just a few weeks before Helene hit the area. They were prepared and did an amazing job taking care of the community and also taking care of the staff! My sister is treated very kindly and although she was very difficult when she first arrived the staff had a ton of patience and faith that she would eventually settle in and like it and she sure does. She enjoys the activities and loves the food. I went to visit and Gina (Amazing Front Desk Coordinator) was very helpful. I ate lunch and it was excellent. The apartments are very nice and the decor is upscale. So thankful my sister Joy is in her new home! PS You know a place is great when retired employees come back to set up and dazzle with holiday decorations!

Arbor Terrace Asheville is a warm and welcoming community. Being out of state and unfamiliar with the area, I was nervous about moving my aunt, however from the first interaction with the team, I was immediately put at ease. The staff is kind, caring, and attentive--they truly put the residents first. The environment is elegant, clean and safe. From day one, the staff ensures the resident is comfortable and adjusting to the new surroundings, the direct communication with me made me feel that I was an important part of the team. My aunt received the best care and everyone treated us like family. I highly recommend Arbor Terrace Asheville!

The physical aspects of the facility are, without a doubt, excellent with the one exception that the trees surrounding the facility made it a bit dark inside. Only the room where the exercise class was held was bright. As our LTC Insurance has a lifetime maximum, the higher the cost, the shorter the coverage. My wife is presently a candidate for assisted living - as opposed to memory care - so the duration of her needs are not well defined. The monthly cost, while consistent with the quality of the facility, is more than we choose to pay for an indeterminate duration.

My husband's mother lived at Arbor Terrace for 5 years. She started in the assisted living program and eventually ended up in the Evergreen area that dealt with dementia and memory care. I cannot say enough good things about this senior living home. The people are caring and involved with the residents all the way from the Susan, the Executive Director and Lisa, the Senior Care Counselor to all the resident care employees, the activities people, the dining staff and the maintenance team. They went out of their way to take care of mom and to make her feel like Arbor Terrace was her home. We visited often and never did we find anything but great care going on for her. The surroundings of the facility are always clean and beautiful. It's also small enough that the resident's don't get lost which gives it an even more homey feeling. If you are looking for a wonderful place to trust with the care of someone you love I highly recommend you check out Arbor Terrace. You will not be disappointed.
