A Wonderful Community with Caring Staff Our family has been very pleased with the care and support our loved one has received at Arbor Terrace Lakeway in Bridges for the past nine months. From my initial visit to move-in, Penny and Lori were incredibly helpful in guiding us through the process. Although every transition is unique, the administrative staff helped to ensure a warm, welcoming and stress-free transition. The initial assessment and reassessment are also very thorough. The care staff is attentive, compassionate, and truly dedicated to the well-being of the community and residents. Some of the staff I have met in the past nine months who really shine: Belinda, Chrissy, Desiree, Rogelio, Serena. It is reassuring to know our loved one is cared for by staff who treat residents with kindness and patience. Dava and Kathy at the front desk are always friendly and helpful. Jae in maintenance does a fantastic job of keeping the community clean. The maintenance team is quick to address any concerns. George is always ready to drive residents around. Overall, we are grateful for the dedication of everyone at Arbor Terrace Lakeway. I highly recommend this community for any family looking for a safe and supportive place for their loved one.

Super friendly and kind staff. All are committed to keeping residents happy, healthy and safe. It’s clear that everyone enjoys their position, and Terrific communication, always answering my many questions, as well as solving difficult issues concerning my mother’s transition. A large variety of food options in a pleasant restaurant-style environment. Snack choices are available throughout the day. (Clearly, the residents are well-fed as they enjoy quality time dining and conversing with fellow friends.) Activities offered are plenty. The activity directors are amazing, with great energy and enthusiasm during residents’ time in session. My family is very pleased and COMFORTED having Arbor Terrace’s staff keeping everyone Happy and Social. One negative is that I feel the facility could monitor visitors more closely upon arrival. I have walked right past Check-in station and monitor more than a few times.

My mother was a resident at the Bridges Community for four months before her recent passing, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care she received. The staff at Arbor Terrace is, without a doubt, the most compassionate and dedicated group I have ever encountered in any healthcare or caregiving setting. From the start, the caregivers went above and beyond—not just for my mother but for our entire family. Many even shared their personal phone numbers with me, offering updates and reassurance about how Mom was doing. When my mother passed away, the staff’s genuine care was profoundly evident. One gesture that stands out to me came from Rogelio, a young caregiver, who brought roses for my mother during her final days. His kindness and thoughtfulness were an example of the level of care and compassion that Arbor Terrace gave my Mom daily. The administrative staff was equally exceptional. Penny, the head of Arbor, was always available and willing to help. When I encountered an issue with the bathroom not being cleaned, she personally came to the room and ensured it was addressed immediately. It never became an issue again. Lori, the head of staff, maintained open communication with me, always making sure our needs were met and providing invaluable support. The maintenance team, especially Rich, also deserves special recognition. He consistently went above and beyond to help us, whether it was mounting items, taking things to the dumpster, or offering a friendly hand with any request. His warm and helpful attitude made every interaction a pleasure. One of the standout aspects of the Bridges Community is the incredible stability of their staff. Unlike other facilities where high turnover disrupts continuity of care, Bridges has a dedicated team that clearly loves their work. Throughout our time there, we saw the same familiar faces—a comfort not only to us but also to the residents. The staff genuinely looks out for the residents, fostering a warm and caring environment where everyone feels seen and valued. A special mention goes to Belinda, one of the kindest caregivers I've met. She always took the time to bring my mother her favorite cup of coffee and made sure she was comfortable, setting her up in a recliner to watch movies. Belinda’s thoughtful attention to my mom’s comfort showed the true heart of the Bridges Community. I would also like to acknowledge the lovely ladies at the front desk. They were always so sweet and welcoming, making every visit a little brighter. I will especially miss their smiling faces that greeted us each time we arrived. Their warmth and kindness were felt every single day. The Bridges Community also offers a well-thought-out array of activities for residents with memory challenges, including bingo, movies, trivia, and crafts. While my mother couldn’t participate in many of these due to her disabilities, she truly enjoyed the sense of community. Unlike other facilities where residents may remain isolated in their rooms, Bridges fosters a warm, communal atmosphere where residents spend time together, creating a supportive and social environment. The building itself is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. I especially appreciated that the memory care section wasn’t hidden behind obvious locked doors or labeled as a "neighborhood," as I’ve seen in other places. My mom had previously been in a fancier, more expensive facility nearby with that kind of setup, and she resisted going behind the locked doors. At Bridges, she didn’t even notice—everything just felt like another welcoming hallway. This subtle design choice helped her feel more at ease, preserving her dignity and comfort. I wholeheartedly recommend the Bridges Community at Arbor Terrace to anyone seeking compassionate and comprehensive memory care for their loved one. Knowing my mother was surrounded by such love, dignity, and kindness in her final months is a comfort I will always hold dear.

After a surprising “we’re going to discharge your mom,” from the hospital, we were scrambling to find a suitable place for her to stay. With a diagnosis of mild dementia and some delirium after multiple infections, doctors recommended memory care. I had no idea where to turn, but I knew I wanted her near me. A search online led me to Arbor Terrace and I had a meeting to tour the facility the same day. Stephanie was fantastic! The facility was nice, but it was the way that she interacted with the residents that made me feel better. She knew everyone! She coached me through the process and gave me her cell number. I was so worried that it wouldn’t work out, but Stephanie worked SO hard to make it happen. Not sure where I would be without her help, but here we are and my mom will be transferred there in a day and a half. I am so lucky that I was connected with her! I’m looking forward to my mom being close to me but also knowing that she will be taken care of.
