The memory care unit at Arbor Terrace fosters a sense of comfort and belonging for residents. The staff is not only professional but also incredibly compassionate, providing personalized care while treating each resident with dignity and respect. As a music therapist, I applaud Arbor Terrace Basking Ridge for recognizing the value and importance of incorporating music therapy into their memory care program. Whether through singing, playing or moving to music, reminiscing, or therapeutic listening, the incorporation of live music therapy, in the moment, has been shown to significantly enhance cognitive function, reduce agitation, and improve emotional well-being, and it's clear that Arbor Terrace recognizes and embraces these benefits.

Arbor Terrace is a BEAUTIFUL Assisted Living residence for seniors! The layout is excellent, inviting and there is a “friendly” atmosphere that greets you right away! All the necessary spaces one would need are right at your fingertips-PT and Medical areas, beauty salon, an activity room for everything from Arts ‘n Crafts, to book clubs, speakers, and more is available. There is a game room, and many love to gather in the lobby, not to miss anything! The dinning rooms are lovely-like an upscale restaurant, tho you can be as casual as you’d like, and the menu choices look delicious. There is a courtyard, and the calendar of events is amazing. (While we visited, a group was out, going for manicures on the Arbor Terrace Van!) A most touching “Wall of Honor” celebrates the Veterans that live here. We visited for my mother-in-law, but, the truth is, we’d love it there, too!!! Joan Aranzullo our guide, and the community director, was fantastic, and Elizabeth at the front desk, was just wonderful. All the staff we came in contact with had smiles and were friendly. Pristine building and grounds in lovely Basking Ridge.

Arbor Terrace is a beautiful Assisted Living and Memory Care community, in the heart of Basking Ridge. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. Their staff and residents are always smiling. This community has a lot to offer! Leslie Yngojo-Bowes is a very kind, patient and knowledgeable Community Sales Director. During our tour, she answered all of my questions and we spoke about how Arbor Terrace Basking Ridge and Country Arch Care Center can work together, to be resources to the families in need of our services. I highly recommend you reaching out to her and don’t forget to ask about their Bridges Neighborhood!

Arbor Terrace of Basking Ridge treats each resident with dignity and respect. Each staff member is kind and professional. Leslie Yngojo-Bowes and the team at Arbor goes above and beyond for each resident and family member. We are grateful to call them a care partner in the community. They are providing additional training to their staff and families for the most successful outcomes. I highly recommend Arbor Terrace for those needing assisted living and memory care in Somerset County and the surrounding area.
