Heartfelt thanks to Al Ewing and the Allerton team for making our father’s first week (as a resident) so welcoming, helpful and collaborative. On move-in day team members from all depts. stopped by throughout the day to welcome Bob, offer assistance, and explain various programs. Our family is impressed with the professionalism and kindness of your Allerton team, the friendliness of residents, the beautiful Allerton facilities and services, and extra attention given to a new resident. Thank you all

I was aware of Allerton House (Weymouth) from the Caregiver Support Group meetings I have been attending. They are open to the public and have been a great source of information and support. After months of attending the meetings, my family was faced with a major decision about our Mother’s care so I asked for a tour of the Memory Care Unit. When the doors opened to the Memory Care Unit during a tour in June, I heard music and laughter in the distance. Most importantly, I saw caregivers walking with residents with smiles on their faces as they interacted with the residents. I noticed a number of residents engaged with the activities director. My impression of the unit was very positive because I was able to meet the Director (Darlene) and see a number of employees caring for the residents. I was so impressed by what I observed, I asked my sister to tour the facility and meet the team because we wanted to get it right about the next level of care for our beloved Mother. After my sister’s tour, she called me and we knew Allerton House was the perfect place for our Mother. After eight weeks, we are still so happy with our decision because of the love and support our Mother is receiving from all of the employees of Allerton House. She is happy, engaged and joyful due to the myriad of activities. Now, love is what I notice when I walk into the Memory Care Unit. Darlene is keenly aware of every detail of our Mother's care and I have observed her with the other residents providing amazing care. We have peace of mind knowing she is well cared for and they want her and the residents to have fun while being kept safe. On 8/21/24, they took five residents to the Marshfield Fair. It was a Herculean effort and they did it to provide joy. Talk about love. After knowing about this trip to the Marshfield Fair, I had to write a review because I know there are families contemplating where to place a loved one and it’s important to hear from other families who made the decision. As our relatives and friends of our Mother visit her, I hear similar comments about the quality of the Memory Care Unit and how happy our Mom is in her new home. Also, they noticed the loving support from the outstanding caregivers and the positive nature of this Memory Care Unit.

From my first inquiry about Allerton House to resident move in, Chahine’s friendly, caring and positive demeanor has made a strenuous process as carefree as possible! Albert’s can-do and energetic personality helped us navigate some unique challenges with our situation. Michelle and Michelle have been amazing helping us with expediting the transfer and care of our resident from re-hab. Thank You All at Allerton House! The building is a beautiful house but you have made it a great home for our resident!
