Very nice place. My inlaws have lived here for a while. Recently my father in law passed and everyone was stopping by to check on my mother in law. Just a GREAT little community. Highly recommend this place

Checked this place out and it's really nice. Has an on-site pub, movie theater, internet Cafe and and community room.. it's pet friendly with a place of walking your dog. There's a gazebo with tables and chairs outside and a nice water fountain in the front court.. it has a very friendly atmosphere with plenty of activities. The property is well kept and has elevators and abundant lighting..

Overall, Affinity is pleasant. The amenities are not all that they are cracked up to be. For example, the "hiking path" is only a very short semi circle that is good for a 2 minute stroll; the dog park is more of a yard. The units are a bit small, but nice. I especially liked having a washer and dryer in my bathroom. The residents are friendly for the most part. Many join in activities; many do not. Participation is up to each resident. My biggest complaint: Affinity is too expensive. I also found that they did poorly on accessibility for low visioned and blind individuals. I originally gave Affinity a 3, but am reducing it to a 1. My reasons are as follows: 1. I wish I had insisted on taking their lease and related materials to review before deciding to move there. As it is, I got a number of unpleasant surprises. 2. According to the Washington Landlord Tennant Right Act, I should have received either my security deposit or an itemized invoice with receipts for any damages within 30 days of moving out. I didn't hear from anyone at Affinity at all, so had to pursue them. I finally got a verbal answer over the phone 70 days after my move, saying I owed them money. When I objected, they sent my security deposit with no explanation. After more struggle, I received my ledger through a mediator and learned that Affinity would have charged me for things that are not allowed under Washington law. Bottom line: I cannot recommend Affinity at Walla Walla. I myself would not live there again. I simply have no confidence when it comes to doing business with them.

Living at Affinity Walla Walla has been an enriching experience the last two years. The staff are very kind and helpful. They treat everyone equally and provide a resolution within their purview. They listen to ideas for activities providing support and encouragement to schedule the event for all the residents to participate if they want. Grocery shopping is just a few steps from the affinity. Along with other necessities shopping stores which saves on gas. The fellow residents are kind and fun to spend time with. This is a great place to live!
