Affinity at Colorado Springs

As a long time resident of Affinity@ Colorado Springs, I'm happy to say the current maintenance and housekeeping staff are the best I have seen here except for the short period when you could see Dan or Trevor on a daily basis (they were both awesome in what they did here). And not enough positive affirmations can be said about Robin and how she has been magnificent and gracious and patient with residents throughout the last year during many months of working by herself.. whoever reads this that has the ability, please give them raises!

I moved into the Affinity community August 2024. I found staff of the leasing office to be very knowledgeable, personable, and friendly. All of the amenities and events at Affinity are wonderful and I found all the residents here are absolutely fabulous. Affinity at Colorado Springs is truly a delight.

The present Leasing agent (Robin) isnt the nicest person. Back in March we have been interested in this property for my disable sister. We Contacted Affinity and at the time we spoke with Kimberly and April two of the most pleasant loving knowledgeable agents.. They told us what to expect with her voucher. They knew how to fill out the paperwork. They even said when she got her stuff they would assist her in filling her part out. They would contact us each month for her status.They told us we will keep her file open and contact them and they will take care of her. And they did keep it on file. Fast forward my sister got her voucher in October neither one of them awesome ladies was not longer there.So when we call this agent name Robin answer Asked if either April or Kimberly was there. She said NO.was the mostinsensitive person Asked about section 8 she was unaware how to complete her part of the document. Became annoyed because she didnt know what to do. She knew enough to get her deposit. And told her she will complete it the following week. When they show up she was fluster and she havent done a sect 8 on over seven years. I contacted her she tells me I m sorry but I need three times her income. I share with her she disable. And she doesnt need that because section 8 will pay her portion. She became very very rude. She should not be in position to deal with potential tenants. Im appalled. My sister and family was looking forward to be in that community. Robin should not be the face of affinity.. Especially when you had two phenomenal people there thats was kind loving and went above and beyond.. And knows how to work with disable people.

Sometimes my clients sell their house and decide to utilize 55+ apartment living for the community, safety, ease of living, no yard maintenance and so forth. I have referred and toured Affinity of Colorado Springs for a few clients. Rebecca has been a HUGE help with her expertise, gentle spirit, smile and her welcoming attitude. She stops what she's doing to say hello and have a little chat. Robin gives exceptional tours of the community and gets to know each person while on the tour. I love hearing the staff say hello to residents by name. There are many greetings that happen, and their names are known! That's so important. Affinity is very cost effective with their pricing, including utilities. All the amenities that are also included. The resident led classes and get togethers. There is ALWAYS something going on and you hear friendships throughout the halls! I highly recommend you take a good look to make this your home. When my clients decide to live here, I am please they are happy and satisfied. They don't always have to buy another property. ;)
